Extrication is a level 76 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you rescue Vaxto from Klingon territory. It is picked up in Vaxiish and needs warp 4,000 to start and to complete, searching Ta’Luna and Ta’Sol before taking Vaxto home to Alvolea. There is one fight, interrogating a Klingon patrol at about 56 trillion strength, plus 12 hostiles of level 76 or higher. The reward is 2,567,000 7★ Raw Crystal, 224,000 7★ Broken Survey Parts and 1,400 Σ-Federation Credits. It is the most combat-heavy of the Vaxto missions, with no donation.
Extrication objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Search for Vaxto in Klingon territory. Location: Ta’Luna.
- Interrogate the Klingon Patrol. Location: Ta’Luna (enemy strength about 55.7 trillion).
- Search for Vaxto in Ta’Sol. Location: Ta’Sol.
- Defeat 12 hostiles of level 76 or higher.
- Retrieve Vaxto from Niiir. Location: Ta’Sol.
- Return Vaxto to Iohap. Location: Alvolea.
The search starts in Ta’Luna, where a Klingon patrol has to be persuaded to talk. That points you to Ta’Sol, where the hostile count comes before you can pull Vaxto out from Niiir. The last leg delivers Vaxto to Iohap in Alvolea.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Vaxiish. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 4,000, and the recommended level is 76.
Three systems follow the pickup: Ta’Luna, Ta’Sol and Alvolea. The 12 hostiles have no system attached, so Ta’Sol is the obvious place to clear them.

Absentee looks for Vaxto and Extrication brings Vaxto home. All three carry the same faction point changes.
Tips
The 12 hostiles are the bulk of the work. Twelve is a higher count than the usual 10 at this level, so pick a ship that farms level 76 hostiles quickly.
Accept Absentee at the same time, since both pick up in Vaxiish. The First Batch also runs through Ta’Sol at this level, and it pays Federation Points too.
