IDIQ 3: Quantum Anomalies is the third mission in the Quantum Anomalies set and the one where you go looking for allies. Starfleet turns you away at Earth, Admiral Picard joins you as an unofficial envoy, and the Klingons and Romulans both refuse to help before something drags your ship to Nibiq. It is a single part, recommended for level 61, starting at warp 1 and reaching only warp 40. Rewards are 500 Klingon Recruit Token, 500 Romulan Recruit Token, 250 Nadion and 3 Cat Spock shards. With one fight and a short route, it is a quick mission with good rewards.
IDIQ 3: Quantum Anomalies Part 3
Find allies to help with the galactic anomalies. Starfleet blames you and Q for the anomalies and refuses to help. Picard offers to use his own reputation to bring the galactic powers together, but Chancellor Martok closes the Klingon borders and a Romulan subcommander opens fire instead of granting an audience.
- Leave Earth orbit in Sol.
- Meet the Klingon Chancellor in Kronos.
- Speak with the Romulans in D’Deridex.
- Escape the Romulans in D’Deridex (enemy strength ~2,632,999,787).
- Find out what’s waiting for you in Nibiq.
The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 40 to complete. The final step pulls your ship to Nibiq on its own, where Q Junior reveals he has been steering events and explains that the anomalies have to be dealt with in the past.
Rewards: 500 Klingon Recruit Token, 500 Romulan Recruit Token, 250 Nadion and 3 Cat Spock shards.
The Quantum Anomalies missions compared
IDIQ 3 closes out the Quantum Anomalies set, which starts with IDIQ 1. All three are recommended for level 61, but they differ a lot in range and rewards.

Tips for completing IDIQ 3: Quantum Anomalies
This is the shortest trip of the three Quantum Anomalies missions. Sol, Kronos, D’Deridex and Nibiq all fall within warp 40, so the warp 900 range IDIQ 2 demanded is not needed here.
The only fight is the escape from the Romulans in D’Deridex, at about 2.6 billion strength. There are no donations or hostile grinds, and the last objective completes once you reach Nibiq.
The story carries on after this mission. IDIQ 4: No Plan Survives First Contact follows Q Junior into an assimilated Sol system, recommended for level 61 with warp 320 to complete.
Are the IDIQ 3: Quantum Anomalies rewards worth it?
Yes. For one fight and a warp 40 route you get 1,000 recruit tokens split between Klingon and Romulan, 250 Nadion and 3 Cat Spock shards, the best return of the Quantum Anomalies set for the effort involved. For other level 61 missions, see the STFC mission guide.
