Black Market Blues is a level 53 KSG mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you try to find the Kos’Karii Engine parts. It starts at warp 1 after Intellectual Property Theft and needs warp 255 to complete. You visit three parts merchants, in Ezla, Izbrig and Eady, then return to Seretos. There are no fights and no costs. The reward is 170 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups plus Klingon faction rewards, and it unlocks What Do We Do Now?
Black Market Blues objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Visit the first parts merchant. Location: Ezla.
- Visit the second parts merchant. Location: Izbrig.
- Visit the final parts merchant. Location: Eady.
- Return to KSG space. Location: Seretos.
Every step is travel. No hostile is listed and nothing is paid or donated. The story picks up the Kos’Karii Engine thread from Brain and Brawn, where you took the engine back from the pirate Lazna.
Where and what warp
No pickup system is listed. Black Market Blues appears at warp 1 once Intellectual Property Theft is complete, and warp 255 is needed to reach all four systems.
The recommended level is 53. With no combat, the warp 255 range is the only requirement.

What Do We Do Now? is another datapad mission, like Let Me In and Gathering Data earlier in the chain, and its story asks you to assist the KSG by completing missions in KSG space. It pays far more than Black Market Blues, with 182,250,000 Tritanium.
Tips
Treat this as a travel run. Plot Ezla, Izbrig, Eady and Seretos in order and use a fast ship if you have one, since there is nothing to fight.
Line up KSG side missions next. What Do We Do Now? needs five KSG Datapads, and side missions such as All of Us, Entrance Rights and Where, Oh, Where Oh each pay one.
