The Treasures of Today is a level 72 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which the Order’s young agents chase a lost Latinum hoard by decoding an old pirate shanty. It opens after The Sins of the Past, needs only warp 1 to start and warp 1,600 to complete, and ends back with the Order in Kúshlah. You face one named fight at about 6.8 trillion strength plus 18 hostile kills. The reward is 2,127,000 7★ Raw Gas, 147,000 7★ Broken Interceptor Parts and 2,200 Σ-Romulan Credits.
The Treasures of Today objectives
Kumu, Ticen and Letha came out of their last assignment with a song stuck in their heads: a prisoner in the next cell kept singing a shanty that sounds like a map to treasure hidden by the old rulers of Laooik. Maia helps them decode it verse by verse. There is no choice split:
- Find the asteroid field mentioned in the shanty in Alvolea.
- Neutralize a treasure hunter in Alvolea (enemy strength ~6,803,668,445,579).
- Mine the Bunsh’ihal Belt to find the next clue in Alvolea.
- Follow the trail to the next clue in Muirnia.
- Find the outpost in Muirnia.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 72 or higher.
- Find the gas giant in Abrinda.
- Defeat 8 hostiles of level 72 or higher.
- Return to the Order in Kúshlah.
The first clue is an isolinear rod frozen inside an ice-core asteroid. The second sits in the pirate station of the Onyxes, where you pick a fight with the station’s fleet so Ticen’s team can slip aboard and pull the rod from a hidden wall. The last one leads to a bright gas giant, where Sinkif, a former defence minister of Laooik, arrives with mercenaries to claim the Latinum. His ship dives into the atmosphere after the cargo shuttle and does not come back out, so nobody gets the treasure. Kotoma still rewards the agents with a real assignment.
Where and what warp
The mission has no pickup system of its own. It unlocks when you finish The Sins of the Past, which is picked up in Kúshlah. Warp 1 is enough to start, but the systems it sends you to need warp 1,600: Alvolea, Muirnia, Abrinda and finally Kúshlah. The recommended level is 72.

Cloak and Phaser pays the same amounts in Ore and Battleship Parts, so the two missions are a matched pair if you need both resources.
Tips
Finish The Sins of the Past first, because that is what opens this mission. Its warp 1,550 is a little lower, so the step up to 1,600 is the only new travel requirement.
The treasure hunter in Alvolea is the only fight with a listed strength, about 6.8 trillion. The two kill objectives (10 hostiles, then 8) accept any hostiles of level 72 or higher, so you can clear them wherever you already farm at that level.
The 2.1 million 7★ Raw Gas is the main prize, and the Gas page covers what it is used for. Like every Order mission this one raises your standing with the Romulan faction while taking away more Federation Points than the Romulan Points it adds, so check faction reputation if that matters to you.
