Heritage Site is a short Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that asks you to clear trespassing hostiles out of Federation space. It is picked up in Vulcan, needs warp 17 to start and to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The one objective is to defeat 10 hostiles of level 21 or higher. The reward is 41,000 Tritanium, 80 Federation Credits, Federation standing and a Cargo Container. It fits neatly into a normal hostile-grinding session.
Heritage Site objectives
The story line is to preserve the memory of the Vulcan system by removing the hostiles who trespass in Federation space. There is a single objective and no choice split:
- Defeat 10 Hostiles of level 21 or higher.
No specific system is attached to the objective, so any hostiles of level 21 or higher count toward it. There is no scripted boss, no donation and no return trip. The mission clears on the tenth kill.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in Vulcan, and both the start and finish need warp 17. Since the objective is not tied to a location, you can do the hunting wherever level 21 or higher hostiles are within reach of your ship.
The recommended level is listed as 1. The hostile level of 21 is the practical measure: your ship needs to beat those hostiles reliably, ten times over.

The game data lists no follow-up mission unlocked by Heritage Site.
How it compares with Eyes Open
Heritage Site has a Klingon counterpart in Eyes Open, picked up in Khitomer at the same warp. Current game data:
| Mission | Pickup | Warp | Objective | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Heritage Site | Vulcan | 17 | Defeat 10 hostiles of level 21 or higher | 41,000 Tritanium, 80 Federation Credits, 800 Federation Points, 1 Cargo Container |
| Eyes Open | Khitomer | 17 | Defeat the Federation Informant (about 30,371) | 12,000 Dilithium, 100 Klingon Credits, 1,000 Klingon Points, 1 Cargo Container |
Both pay a Cargo Container and push your standing toward one faction while taking a little from the other two. Heritage Site asks for a hostile grind rather than one scripted fight, and pays Tritanium rather than Dilithium.
Tips
Combine it with your usual hostile hunting. Ten kills at level 21 or higher is a normal grinding session, and because the objective is not tied to a system, you can do it wherever you already farm.
Mind the faction effect. The 800 Federation Points come with small losses of 662 Klingon Points and 147 Romulan Points. For most players the net change is minor, but it is worth knowing if you are tracking Klingon reputation closely.
Open the Cargo Container when you need it. It is the one reward here that is not a plain resource. The 41,000 Tritanium is the biggest line and goes straight into upgrades. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
