Shipyard Level 43

Shipyard Level 43 is a station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one objective: upgrade your Shipyard to level 43. It starts and finishes at warp 1, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the building upgrade is the only real requirement. The reward is 80 each of 4★ Uncommon Interceptor, Explorer, Battleship and Survey Parts, 320 ship parts in total. That makes it a useful mission for tiering up ships of every hull type at once.

Shipyard Level 43 objectives

The story line reads: Upgrade to Shipyard Level 43. There is one objective and no choice split:

  • Upgrade to Shipyard Level 43.

No system, no fight and no donation. The mission completes once the Shipyard reaches level 43.

Where and what warp

Warp 1 to start, warp 1 to complete, and no pickup system. Everything happens on your station.

The recommended level is listed as 1, but the Shipyard 43 upgrade is what actually gates the mission.

Shipyard Level 43 rewards

Reward Amount
4★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts 80
4★ Uncommon Explorer Parts 80
4★ Uncommon Battleship Parts 80
4★ Uncommon Survey Parts 80

Completing it unlocks the next station mission, Drydock A Level 43.

How level 43 compares with other Shipyard missions

Mission Reward (each of Interceptor, Explorer, Battleship, Survey)
Upgrade to Shipyard Level 42 60 4★ Uncommon Parts
Shipyard Level 43 80 4★ Uncommon Parts
Shipyard Level 44 90 4★ Uncommon Parts
Shipyard Level 46 9 4★ Rare Parts
Shipyard Level 49 15 4★ Rare Parts

Level 43 adds 20 parts of each type over level 42, and level 44 adds another 10. By level 46 the rewards switch to much smaller amounts of 4★ Rare parts.

What the Shipyard gives you in this range

The Shipyard raises ship construction speed and tier-up speed with each level. Current building data puts both bonuses at 111% at level 40 and 137% at level 45, so level 43 sits between the two.

The milestones on either side show how the cost grows. Shipyard 40 needs Operations 40, R&D Department 40 and Armada Control Center 20, and costs about 5.16 billion Parsteel and 30.1 million Tritanium. Shipyard 45 needs Operations 45 and R&D Department 45, and costs about 23.87 billion Parsteel and 195 million Tritanium, plus 4★ Uncommon and Rare Refined Crystal.

Where it sits in the station mission line

This mission follows R&D Department Level 43 and leads into Drydock A Level 43, which pays 9,375,000 Tritanium and nine 1M Tritanium Tokens. Run back to back, the two missions cover both ship parts and building materials.

Tips

Spread the parts across your fleet. Because the reward covers all four hull types, it helps whichever ship you are tiering up next, including survey ships.

Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
