The Enemy of My Enemy is a Federation story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where Starfleet needs a reliable neutral Independent to carry a peace offering to the Klingons. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 40 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so warp 40 is the practical gate. There is no combat: you parley with a Klingon General at Khitomer, then decide whether to hand over the data freely or negotiate a price. Finishing it unlocks Specialist.
The Enemy of My Enemy objectives
The mission opens with two shared steps:
- Parlay with a Klingon General on behalf of Starfleet at Khitomer. Location: Khitomer.
- Dilemma: give up the data or negotiate?
The two options are Give the Klingon General the data freely and Negotiate a price for the data. Both lead to the same last step:
- Return to Starfleet with a response. Location: Sol.
The choice changes only one reward line. The route from Khitomer to Sol is the same either way.
Where and what warp
The mission is available from warp 1 and needs warp 40 to complete. Khitomer and Sol are the two named systems, and no hostile is listed at any step.
With no fights, the ship you send only needs the range.

Completing either path unlocks the next mission, Specialist.
Which choice to pick
Giving the data freely pays 1,000 Klingon Recruit Tokens; negotiating pays 750,000 Dilithium. The reputation changes are identical. Despite the peace offering, the Klingon loss of 158,400 points applies on both paths, so check your faction reputation if Klingon standing matters.
If you want Klingon officers, take the tokens. If you need Dilithium, negotiate.

Riposte opens this storyline and A War on Two Fronts comes directly before this mission. Every mission in the table pays 600 Federation Credits, 100,000 Federation Points and a Damaged Datapad. The Enemy of My Enemy is the first of the no-combat steps.
Tips
Send any ship with warp 40. There is nothing to fight on this mission.
