Crossed Bat’leths is a three-part mission chain in which Starfleet and the Klingon High Council team up against House Hurak. You help General Gerrokk’s fleet defend the planet Pijaj, track down a Hurak Transogen vault in Gya’tuum, then battle House Hurak’s champion. All three parts are recommended for level 32. The first two need warp 23 and 26, and the game lists Part 3 at warp 1. Across the chain you earn 2,750 Raw Common Transogen, 1,500 Raw Uncommon Transogen, a 4 Hr Peace Shield and 6 SNW D’Chok shards. It is a compact, combat-led chain with a good D’Chok payout.

Crossed Bat’leths Part 1

Crossed Bat’leths Part 3
The last part is the battle with House Hurak’s champion. You thin out hostiles first, then focus fire on the Hurak Flagship in Gya’tuum and get clear of the firefight.
- Defeat 5 hostiles of level 31 or higher.
- Concentrate fire on the Hurak Flagship in Gya’tuum (enemy strength ~418,676).

Tips for completing Crossed Bat’leths
The game lists Part 3 at warp 1 to complete, yet its flagship fight takes place in Gya’tuum, the same system Part 2 needed warp 26 to reach. Plan on the warp 26 range for the whole chain rather than trusting the lower figure.
The fights are close in strength. The dropships in Part 1 are the easiest at about 347,000, and the assault vessel, the Hurak Battleship and the Flagship all fall between 415,000 and 419,000. That makes the Battleship in Part 2 a fair test: if your ship handles it, the Flagship in Part 3 is only slightly harder.
Part 3 also asks for 5 hostiles of level 31 or higher before the flagship. The objective names no system, so clear them wherever is convenient.
Are the Crossed Bat’leths rewards worth it?
If you want SNW D’Chok, yes. The 6 shards from Part 3 are the second-largest D’Chok payout among the level 32 Transogen chains, behind the 7 from Hurak’s Folly, and the chain adds 2,750 Raw Common and 1,500 Raw Uncommon Transogen. Four ship fights and five hostiles stand between you and all of it. Transience and House of Hurak are the other D’Chok chains at this level. For how Transogen fits into the game, see the Transogen faction guide, and for more missions, the STFC mission guide.
