Telepresence is a Federation-aligned story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you help the Andorians test telepresent ship control. Captain Sotan and Zesa, an Aenar volunteer, have fitted a Vulcan ship to fly as an unmanned drone, and your job is to fight it at full strength so they can gather combat data. The drone sits at roughly 5,773,328 strength. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but the mission needs warp 70. The reward is 903,000 Dilithium, four 3 Hour Repair Speed Ups and Federation reputation, at a cost in Klingon standing.

Telepresence objectives

There are three objectives and no choice split:

  • Meet with Captain Sotan and his associate on Safro. Location: Stradania.
  • Go to the designated test site in Stradania. Location: Stradania.
  • Gather combat data from the Vulcan drone prototype. Location: Stradania. Enemy strength is roughly 5,773,328.

Everything happens in Stradania, a level 42 neutral system. You meet Sotan and Zesa on the planet Safro, fly to the test coordinates nearby and engage the drone, a Vahklas class ship supplied by the Vulcans. Sotan asks you not to hold back. Beating the drone completes the mission.

Where and what warp

The mission can be picked up at warp 1, and completing it needs warp 70. Stradania is the only system named, so this is a single trip out.

The listed recommended level of 1 is not a useful guide. The drone fight near 5.8 million strength is the real requirement.

Telepresence rewards

Reward Amount
Dilithium 903,000
3 Hour Repair Speed Up 4
Federation Credits 600
Federation Points 216,000
Klingon Points -318,816

Completing it unlocks Estranged Relations. The mission before it is Dangerous Excursions.

What comes next

Estranged Relations keeps you working with Captain Sotan and the Aenar. Current game data for the two missions:

Mission Warp to complete What it asks Rewards
Telepresence 70 Fight the Vulcan drone in Stradania (about 5,773,328) 903,000 Dilithium, 4 × 3 Hour Repair Speed Up, Federation reputation
Estranged Relations 75 Defeat Lajik, the Suliban kidnapper, in Talvath (about 5,773,328), donate 7M Tritanium, escort the Aenar to Holles 90 4★ Uncommon Refined Gas, 800 4★ Common Refined Gas

The fights are exactly the same strength, so the ship that beats the drone can beat Lajik. Estranged Relations adds a 7M Tritanium donation, so it is worth saving Tritanium before you move on.

Tips

Bring your strongest ship at full health. There is only one fight, and at about 5.8 million strength the drone is the whole challenge.

Use the repair speed ups after the drone. Four 3 Hour Repair Speed Ups cover twelve hours of repairs, which helps get your ship ready for Lajik. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
