Yesterday’s Future is the final mission of the Romulan-allied sample storyline in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 40. After stealing a mysterious sample from Starfleet, you have to get it to Subcommander Litroka on Iapedes while Starfleet and a rival Romulan ally both try to take it from you. There are two versions, one for each branch you could have chosen in Fragments of the Past. Both start at warp 1 and need warp 61 to complete, and they pay different rewards.
Yesterday’s Future objectives
This is the Corvallen version, which follows Unquestionable Loyalty. There are eight objectives and no choice split:
- Meet with Ruushek in Tovla. Location: Tovla.
- Defeat the Starfleet Agent. Location: Tovla. Enemy strength about 910,000.
- Retreat to Ferraria. Location: Ferraria.
- Defeat 20 hostiles of 39 or higher.
- Defeat Savad. Location: Ferraria. Enemy strength about 1.11 million.
- Ensure that the sample reaches Ruushek safely. Location: Morska.
- Deliver the sample to Litroka on Iapedes. Location: Iapedes.
- Return to your Station.
Just as the handover starts in Tovla, a Starfleet ship drops out of warp, and your ally blames you for leading it there. You disable it, and its captain warns that you have no idea what you are meddling with. You slip away to Ferraria, where the rival general hails you, demands the sample and brings a fleet when you refuse. Once that fleet is beaten, your ally sets up a safer meeting and the sample finally reaches Litroka. Your AI calls it a fragment of ancient technology, oddly familiar, and Litroka orders the winning faction to occupy the region for the Empire. Back home, you tell Saru that long-range scans picked up thousands of sources like it.
Where and what warp
No pickup system is listed and both versions start at warp 1. You need warp 61 to complete either one, for the route through Tovla, Ferraria, Morska and Iapedes. The recommended level is 40.
The named fights are light for the level, around 0.9 to 1.1 million strength. The 20-hostile objective names a minimum level of 39 but no system.

Yesterday’s Future at other levels
Both versions share the same recommended level of 40 and the same warp. What changes is the branch: the Suliban version swaps the two generals, so you meet Savad in Tovla and fight Ruushek’s Corvallen fleet in Ferraria instead. The objectives and enemy strengths are otherwise the same.

You get the version that matches the branch you chose, so you cannot pick between these rewards at this point.
Tips
Clear the 20 hostiles while you are in Ferraria. The retreat puts you there anyway, and the rival general’s fight in the same system follows right after.
Only the Corvallen version pays a Relocation Token and speed ups. The Suliban version pays about 8.5 million more Parsteel and adds 995,000 Dilithium instead.
