Operations 61 is a station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with a single objective: upgrade your Operations building to level 61. It needs warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 61, which is the upgrade itself. The reward is 2,500 Σ-Parsteel, and finishing it unlocks the next station mission, Recruitment Hall Level 61. When the mission starts, Maia reports that a path to the Mortican Frontier has been found.
Operations 61 objectives
There is one objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Operations to level 61.
No system, hostile or donation is involved. The mission completes when Operations reaches level 61. Maia’s line with this mission says the Ishka’du system can serve as a jumping-off point into the Frontier.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. Everything happens on your station, so the only real requirement is the Operations 61 upgrade.
Operations 61 rewards
The reward is 2,500 Σ-Parsteel. Completing the mission also unlocks Recruitment Hall Level 61.
What the Operations 61 upgrade costs
The upgrade is the real work behind this mission. The level 61 cost and requirement, with level 62 for comparison:
| Level | Costs | Base build time | Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| 61 | 576,225,000,000 Tritanium, 150,464,000,000,000 Parsteel, 192,075,000,000 Dilithium, 400 Ascend Key 3 | 7,651 days 11 hours | Shipyard 60 |
| 62 | 6,525 Σ-Dilithium, 19,575 Σ-Tritanium, 111,600 6★ Common Refined Ore, 1,064,880 Σ-Parsteel | 195 days 2 hours | Parsteel Vault 61, Shipyard 61 |
Build times are the unboosted base values. Level 61 is the last Operations upgrade paid in standard Parsteel, Tritanium and Dilithium; from level 62 the costs switch to Σ resources and 6★ refined ore. The 2,500 Σ-Parsteel reward is small next to the 1,064,880 Σ-Parsteel the next upgrade needs, but it is a start on that bill.
Tips
Check the Shipyard first. Operations 61 requires Shipyard 60, and Operations 62 requires Shipyard 61 and Parsteel Vault 61, so plan those buildings alongside this one.
The 400 Ascend Key 3 cost is the unusual item on the list. Make sure you have them before starting the upgrade.
The Mortican Frontier storyline this mission points to continues in The Frontier. Earlier Operations missions such as Operations 49 follow the same one-objective pattern, and other missions by level are on the mission guide.
