Memory, Unsteady is a level 76 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you help a nurse find the source of his patients’ memory problems. It is picked up in Vaxiish and needs warp 4,000 to start and to complete, with every objective at an assisted living facility in Ker’Anh. There is no combat; the only cost is a 60K Σ-Dilithium donation to close a tear. The reward is 3,667,000 7★ Raw Gas, 320,000 7★ Broken Explorer Parts and 1,500,000 Ship XP. For a mission with no fights, the payout is excellent.
Memory, Unsteady objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Proceed to the assisted living facility. Location: Ker’Anh.
- Speak with the head nurse. Location: Ker’Anh.
- Speak privately with Nurse Kiro. Location: Ker’Anh.
- Scan the system. Location: Ker’Anh.
- Donate 60K Σ-Dilithium to close the tear.
- Return to the facility. Location: Ker’Anh.
The first half is conversation: the head nurse, then a private word with Nurse Kiro. A scan of the system turns up a tear, which your 60K Σ-Dilithium closes, and you report back to the facility.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Vaxiish, and everything after that happens in Ker’Anh. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 4,000, and the recommended level is 76.
With no hostiles listed, any ship with warp 4,000 can run it, which makes it a good job for a second ship while your main one handles the fights elsewhere.

Memory, Unsteady is the only one of the three with no combat at all.
Tips
With no fight to lose, this is a low-risk mission for a ship you are still levelling, and the Ship XP is a useful boost for it.
Have 60K Σ-Dilithium ready before you scan the system, since the tear cannot be closed without it.
Absentee and Extrication also pick up in Vaxiish at the same level, so you can accept several missions on one visit. The Broken Explorer Parts help only if you are working on an Explorer.
