Beyond Uncharted is a Star Trek Fleet Command mission about opening a route to the Delta Quadrant through an interspatial flexure. It suits commanders around level 26, starts a single warp from home, and reaches warp 25 before you close the wormhole. Partway through you decide how to get a gravimetric torpedo, and that choice changes the last few objectives and one of the rewards.

Beyond Uncharted objectives

The mission opens the same way for everyone, then branches on a single decision about where to source a gravimetric torpedo. The shared opening runs:

  • Investigate the interspatial flexure in Neethia.
  • Donate 150K Tritanium to send a probe.
  • Decide where to acquire a gravimetric torpedo.

That last step is the choice split. The two paths send you to different systems and end with a different recruit reward, so read both before you commit.

Ask Starfleet

  • Contact Starfleet in Noakyn.
  • Save the informant in Strezhi, which means defeating a Romulan Legionary at roughly 54,000 strength.
  • Deliver the informant to Starfleet in Noakyn.
  • Open the wormhole in Neethia.

Go to the Syndicate

  • Get to the Syndicate in Orion.
  • Donate 1M Parsteel for the gravimetric torpedo.
  • Defeat an Arkonian Mercenary in Orion at roughly 55,000 strength.
  • Open the wormhole in Neethia.

Where and what warp

Beyond Uncharted begins one warp from your position at the interspatial flexure in Neethia, the system the mission keeps returning to. From there the objectives fan out to Noakyn and Strezhi on the Starfleet path or to Orion on the Syndicate path, with the farthest leg counting as warp 25. The recommended level is 26, and both branches include a fight against a target in the mid-50,000s power range, so bring a fleet that can win that before you start.

Beyond Uncharted rewards

Both paths pay two 1 Day Assignment Speed Ups and 100 Uncommon Formation Armada Directives. The recruit reward is the only thing that changes with your choice.

Reward Ask Starfleet Go to the Syndicate
1 Day Assignment Speed Up 2 2
Recruit Token 120 0
Premium Recruit Token 0 60
Formation Armada Directive (Uncommon) 100 100

The decision comes down to 120 standard Recruit Tokens on the Starfleet path against 60 Premium Recruit Tokens on the Syndicate path. Premium tokens pull from the better recruiting pool, so take the Syndicate route if you are chasing premium officer shards, and the Starfleet route if you would rather have the larger stack of standard pulls. Finishing the mission also opens the next assignment in the sequence.

Tips

Stockpile before you start. The mission asks for 150K Tritanium up front on both paths, and the Syndicate route adds a 1M Parsteel donation, so top those resources off first or you will stall mid-mission waiting on production.

Each branch has one combat step against a target in the low-to-mid 50,000s power range. Line up a crew and hull that can clear that cleanly at level 26, and if your ships are not there yet, hold the mission until they are rather than grinding the fight at a disadvantage.

The route ends around warp 25, so keep your reserves topped off to make the outbound legs without stopping to refuel. Beyond Uncharted follows Now and Then Part 5 and leads into Fragile Agreement, so clearing it keeps that Delta Quadrant sequence moving.
