Time Is the Fire… is a ten-part mission chain that starts with the House of Duras and grows into a chase after Dr. Tolian Soran, his assimilated El-Aurian fleet and the Nexus, ending with Q Junior’s return to the Continuum. Every part is recommended for level 38 and starts at warp 1, with finishes between warp 23 and warp 61. Officer shards for Miss Q, Romi and Soran are spread through the chain, alongside Parsteel, Tritanium, recruit tokens and 12,500 SS Revenant Parts Uncommon at the end. It is a long, combat-heavy chain, but no single fight is large.

Investigate the activities of the House of Duras. Klingon activity in Earokij turns into three fights in a row.

Follow a Klingon fleet without being seen. Miss Q’s lead sends you to H’Atoria, and the transporters you follow lead on to Eeli.

Intercept a Federation distress call. Starfleet needs help against the Klingon fleet in Noakyn, and a shuttle slips away to Xerxes.

Confront Dr. Tolian Soran. The meeting in Hig’Qar brings the Duras sisters and Umek into the fight.

Help Umek appeal to the Klingon High Council for aid. After escorting him to Kronos, you lead the Klingon fleet to Amargosa and then flee Soran’s forces into Sintek.

Pursue Soran across the galaxy. The chase runs through Elaisik and Balduk to System J-25, with a hostile sweep at each of the first two stops.

- Defeat 6 hostiles of level 38 or higher.

Time Is the Fire… Part 10
Stop Dr. Tolian Soran and return Q Junior to the Continuum. The final showdown is at El-Aurian against the SS Revenant, after which you approach the Nexus in Veridian and escort the Enterprise home to Sol.
- Confront and stop Soran once and for all in El-Aurian.
- Destroy the SS Revenant in El-Aurian (enemy strength ~937,932).
- Move closer to the Nexus in Veridian.
- Escort the Enterprise back to Federation territory in Sol.
- Return to your Station.

Tips for completing Time Is the Fire…
Part 9 is the travel wall at warp 61, well above every other part. The rest of the chain sits between warp 23 and 49, so you can work up to Part 8 while extending your range.
Combat is frequent but even. Every named enemy in the chain is listed between about 900,000 and 940,000 strength, so a ship that clears Part 1 can handle the later fights. The grind comes from hostile sweeps: 12 level 38 targets in Parts 4, 5 and 6, and two sets of 6 in Part 9.
Three donations are required: 4M Tritanium in Part 2, 1.5M Dilithium in Part 7 and 7.5M Tritanium in Part 8. Several parts end with a return to your Station, which is a good moment to repair before the next run.
Are the Time Is the Fire… rewards worth it?
Yes, especially for officer collectors. The chain pays one shard each for Miss Q, Romi and Soran, 12,500 SS Revenant Parts Uncommon, more than 70 million Parsteel, around 12.6 million Tritanium, 167,000 Officer XP and 1,700 recruit tokens of various kinds.
