Cloaked is a single Deep Space Nine mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 35. Sisko and Worf ask you to help field-test the USS Defiant before its cloaking device goes in. It needs warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, and the reward is a U.S.S. Defiant Cloaking Shard, three 1 Day Speed Ups and 373,000 Dilithium. Two light fights and no travel make it quick for anyone at the recommended level.
Cloaked objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Test the Defiant’s impulse engines.
- Run the combat test. Enemy strength about 647,000.
- Battle the USS Defiant. Enemy strength about 673,000.
With the Dominion watching Deep Space Nine, Sisko runs the tests near your station. After an impulse run, the combat drill pits you against a holographic Jem’Hadar Cruiser so the Defiant can compare its numbers with yours. Your crew then suggests a test is not real until the defences are stressed, and Sisko takes the challenge himself. After the fight he admits the armour needs work, then reveals that the cloak is already installed and vanishes from your sensors.
Where and what warp
No pickup system and no location is listed, and warp is 1 to start and 1 to complete. Everything happens without leaving home space.
The recommended level is 35. The two fights are close in strength, about 647,000 for the holographic drill and 673,000 for the Defiant itself.
Cloaked rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| U.S.S. Defiant Cloaking Shard | 1 |
| 1 Day Speed Up | 3 |
| Dilithium | 373,000 |
Fights in Cloaked
| Objective | Opponent | Enemy strength |
|---|---|---|
| Run the combat test | Holographic Jem’Hadar Cruiser | about 647,000 |
| Battle the USS Defiant | USS Defiant, crewed by Sisko and Worf | about 673,000 |
The second fight is only slightly harder than the first, so a ship that wins the drill comfortably is ready for the Defiant. Both opponents are well within reach for a level 35 combat ship, which makes this one of the lighter combat missions at its level.
Tips
Repair between the two fights if the first one hurts. There is no travel, so a quick repair between the drill and the Defiant costs very little.
The Cloaking Shard is the reason to run this. The mission gives exactly one, so if you are collecting U.S.S. Defiant Cloaking Shards, this is an easy one to pick up. The three 1 Day Speed Ups are a strong bonus at level 35.
Other Deep Space Nine missions are gathered on the Deep Space Nine arc page, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
