Maverick Research

Maverick research is an endgame faction branch tied to the Maverick faction and the Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas, with most nodes gated at R&D Department 55 and up. It sharpens high-tier ships for hostile and armada play, speeds Maverick faction grinding, and adds defenses built for Conqueror Borg content. What Maverick research does

The tree does three jobs. The G5-and-up FKR PvE lines raise critical damage, isolytic damage, mitigation, and base damage for your high-tier ships against hostiles and armadas, which is the broad combat value. The Maverick faction lines, including Deeds, Glory, Patrons, and the intel efficiency node, cut the milestone points you need and boost the Renown and Maverick Credits you earn from solo faction tasks, so they pay back fast if you grind the faction. The Conqueror Borg lines, covering Isolytic Defense and Apex Shred against Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas, are targeted survival and damage for that specific content. A few 7-star resource cost-efficiency nodes and the Borg Sphere warp range round it out. If you run Conqueror Borg armadas, take the faction-grind boosts and the Conqueror Borg defenses first.

All 22 research projects, sorted by unlock level (most projects gate on your R&D Department; some use Operations or another building). Cost to max is the full resource total across every level. Research time is the base time before your research-speed bonuses, which cut it heavily in play, so treat it as a relative gauge between projects rather than a real-world clock.
