What We See is a level 66 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command and part of the Cult Eternus storyline. New research from Howards and Toryn can raise Maia’s performance, but the station needs more power to use it, so the one objective is to upgrade Operations to level 66. It needs warp 1 to start and to complete and pays 462,000 Raw Σ-Parsteel and 1,125,000,000 Dilithium. That is a large Dilithium payout for a single station upgrade.
What We See objectives
There is a single objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Operations to level 66.
Maia, the A.I. at the heart of your station, recommends the upgrade so she can put the new research to full use. When it is done, Toryn calls it a wise decision: the Cult is powerful, and stopping the Nameless from swallowing the galaxy will need Maia at full capacity.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system and nothing to fly to. Both the start and the finish are at warp 1, and the recommended level is 66. The Operations upgrade is the only gate.
Further Expanse, the mission before this one, asked for Compact Defense Research to expand Maia’s capabilities. What We See continues that thread, moving from research to the power supply that lets Maia use it.

Tips
Line up the Operations 66 upgrade before you finish Further Expanse, since this mission opens straight after it and has no other requirement.
The three level 66 station missions that follow each other here pay 3.8 billion Dilithium between them, and What We See accounts for 1.125 billion of that. If you have been short on Dilithium for upgrades, this stretch of the story is a good place to catch up.
