Bloodhound is a Klingon story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you track down and interrogate former Starfleet agents. The game lists a recommended level of 1, but it needs warp 120 to complete. You find the first agent in Hilo, donate 4M Dilithium, find Richards in Kayla, and decide what to do with him. One path fights the agent and pays 4★ Refined Crystal; the other hands the data to Chang and pays 4★ Refined Ore. Either way it unlocks Can You Find It In Your Heart? as the next mission.
Bloodhound objectives
Everyone starts with the same four steps:
- Find the former Starfleet agent. Location: Hilo.
- Donate 4M Dilithium for information.
- Find Richards. Location: Kayla.
- Decide what to do with the agent.
The fourth step is a choice split with two paths.
Path 1: defeat the agent
- Defeat the agent. Location: Kayla. Enemy strength is roughly 5,867,534.
- Return to Chang. Location: Kronos.
Rewards: 30 4★ Rare Refined Crystal and 110 4★ Uncommon Refined Crystal.
Klingon path: bring the data
- Bring the data to Chang. Location: Kronos.
Rewards: 25 4★ Rare Refined Ore and 90 4★ Uncommon Refined Ore.
Where and what warp
No pickup system is listed. The mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 120 to complete. Hilo, Kayla and Kronos are the named systems, and both paths end with Chang on Kronos.
The recommended level is 1. Warp 120 and the 4M Dilithium donation apply to everyone, and Path 1 adds a fight at roughly 5,867,534 strength.

Bloodhound is the only one of the three without faction points, and the only one where the fight is optional.
Tips
Choose by which refined material you need, and whether you want the fight. Path 1 pays more (140 crystal against 115 ore) but asks you to beat a ship at roughly 5,867,534 strength. The Klingon path skips the fight.
Save 4M Dilithium in advance. The donation comes early, straight after you find the first agent in Hilo. Other missions sorted by level are on the mission guide.
