Assault on Wolf 359 is a Romulan story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Romulus at warp 40 and completed at warp 40. The data lists a recommended level of 1, but every fight is well past a million strength. You investigate a Klingon attack at Wolf 359, strike at the damaged Starfleet ships left behind, then choose how to deal with Starfleet. Both paths pay 100,000 Romulan Points and 600 Romulan Credits, and finishing either one unlocks Incrimination.
Assault on Wolf 359 objectives
The first three objectives are the same for everyone, all in the Wolf system:
- Investigate the events in the Wolf system. Location: Wolf.
- Capitalize on the damaged Federation Science Ship. Location: Wolf. Enemy strength is roughly 1,385,777.
- Destroy the supporting supply ship. Location: Wolf. Enemy strength is roughly 2,045,669.
- How will you deal with Starfleet?
At that fourth step the mission splits, and the two paths have different objectives and a different lead reward.
Path 1: finish off the Starfleet ships
- Eliminate the Starfleet Medical Ship. Location: Wolf. Enemy strength is roughly 1,385,777.
- Destroy the USS Mayflower. Location: Wolf. Enemy strength is roughly 2,045,669.
Rewards for Path 1: 9 3★ Rare Refined Ore, 600 Romulan Credits, 100,000 Romulan Points, -100,800 Federation Points, -67,200 Klingon Points, 1 Damaged Datapad.
Path 2: report to the Praetor
- Report directly to Praetor Bervas on Romulus. Location: Romulus.
Rewards for Path 2: 1,250 Federation Recruit Token, 600 Romulan Credits, 100,000 Romulan Points, -100,800 Federation Points, -67,200 Klingon Points, 1 Damaged Datapad.
Where and what warp
You accept the mission in Romulus, and the data lists warp 40 both to start and to complete. All the fighting happens in Wolf. Path 2 ends with a trip back to Romulus; Path 1 ends in Wolf after the Mayflower goes down.
The listed recommended level of 1 does not reflect the fights. Two targets sit near 1.39 million and two near 2.05 million, so this is a mission for a fleet that already handles hostiles in that range.

Which path to choose
The faction point changes are identical on both paths, so the choice comes down to two things: the lead reward and how much fighting you want to do.
Path 1 adds two more fights, one at about 1.39 million and one at about 2.05 million, and pays 9 3★ Rare Refined Ore. Path 2 skips both fights, sends you home to Romulus, and pays 1,250 Federation Recruit Tokens instead. If your fleet struggled with the supply ship, Path 2 is the safer finish.
Tips
Clear the first two fights before committing. The supply ship at about 2,045,669 is the same strength as the USS Mayflower on Path 1, so it tells you whether that path is realistic for your fleet.
Be ready for the faction hit. Both paths take 100,800 Federation Points and 67,200 Klingon Points away, and the next mission, Incrimination, carries the same penalties on both of its paths too. It needs warp 47 to complete and asks you to frame either Starfleet or the Klingon Empire.
