The Convergence is a single mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you fend off a dangerous new enemy by helping the Federation, the Romulans and the Klingons in turn. The recommended level is 1, it can be picked up at warp 1, and it needs warp 150 to complete. You fight a Convergence Zealot in each of Avofall, Elvros and Annalu, two of them at over 7 million strength. The reward is 700 each of Federation, Romulan and Klingon Credits, and it opens The Blind Leading the Blind.

The Convergence objectives

There are six objectives, two per faction, and no choice split:

  • Help the Federation defend against the Convergence. Location: Avofall.
  • Defeat the Convergence Zealot. Location: Avofall.
  • Help the Romulans defend against the Convergence. Location: Elvros.
  • Defeat the Convergence Zealot. Location: Elvros. Enemy strength is roughly 7,227,080.
  • Help the Klingons defend against the Convergence. Location: Annalu.
  • Defeat the Convergence Zealot. Location: Annalu. Enemy strength is roughly 7,482,395.

The pattern repeats three times. You arrive in a faction’s system to help with the defense, then take down the Convergence Zealot there. The mission data gives no strength figure for the Avofall Zealot. The Elvros Zealot sits at around 7.23 million and the Annalu Zealot at around 7.48 million, so the last fight is the hardest of the two that are listed.

Where and what warp

The Convergence needs warp 1 to start and warp 150 to complete. The mission data lists no pickup system, so warp 150 is the number to plan around. The route runs Avofall, then Elvros, then Annalu. The recommended level is listed as 1, but with two Zealots above 7 million strength, the fights are the real gate.

The mission before this one is Operations 47.

The Convergence rewards

Reward Amount
Federation Credits 700
Romulan Credits 700
Klingon Credits 700

The rewards match the story: you help all three factions, and you get an equal share of each faction’s credits. Completing the mission also unlocks the next one, The Blind Leading the Blind.

The Convergence and The Blind Leading the Blind compared

The next mission takes you to the Convergence sanctum in an attempt to broker peace. It pushes the warp requirement up again and pays in ship parts instead of credits:

Mission Warp to complete Fights Rewards
The Convergence 150 Three Convergence Zealots, up to about 7.48 million strength 700 Federation Credits, 700 Romulan Credits, 700 Klingon Credits
The Blind Leading the Blind 160 The Convergence Preacher and Virgil, plus two sets of 10 hostiles at level 46 and 47 or higher 210 4★ Uncommon Battleship Parts, 210 4★ Uncommon Interceptor Parts

The Preacher and Virgil in the next mission sit at the same two strength figures as the Zealots here, roughly 7.48 million and 7.23 million, so a ship that clears The Convergence is matched to them. The extra work in the next mission is the 20 hostile kills and the 10 more warp.

Tips

Bring your strongest combat ship and plan a repair between systems. Three Zealot fights across three systems is a lot of damage to carry, and the Annalu Zealot at the end has the highest listed strength.

Check warp 150 before you start. The mission needs it to complete, and every objective is in a system you have to reach.

If you are short on any one faction’s credits, this is an even split of all three, so it helps whichever one you are building toward. For every other mission by level, see the mission guide.
