Upgrade Operations to Level 34 is a station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command with one objective: raise your Operations building to level 34. It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the upgrade is the only real requirement. The reward is 6,000,000 Tritanium and two 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups, and completing it unlocks the next Operations mission. It costs you nothing beyond the upgrade you were already planning.
Upgrade Operations to Level 34 objectives
The story line reads “Operations houses the command center and the Station’s main computer.” There is one objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Operations to Level 34.
No system, no hostile and no donation. The mission clears when Operations reaches level 34.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. Every step happens on your station, so your ships are free for other work while it runs.
The recommended level is listed as 1. That figure does not tell you much, since the mission only completes once Operations 34 is built.

How Level 34 compares with other steps
Operations levels have their own upgrade missions. Current game data for Level 34 and several steps either side of it:

Level 34 is the only step in this table that pays 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups; from Level 36 the speed ups are 3 Hour ones. Between Level 24 and Level 34 the Tritanium reward grows from 350,000 to 6 million, so these missions become a real source of Tritanium in the thirties.
Put another way, the Level 34 mission pays more than seventeen times the Tritanium of the Level 24 one, and the Level 38 mission pays half as much again as Level 34.
Tips
Line up the next upgrade. Six million Tritanium is a solid contribution toward the next rounds of station building, and each later Operations mission pays more.
Two 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups are handy after a hard fight. Because they come in a pair, you can split them across two ships or use both on one badly damaged hull.
Finishing Level 34 is what unlocks the next Operations mission, so claim it promptly once the upgrade lands. The mission guide lists every other mission by level.
