Pride and Vanity is a three-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain about Celea’s stolen blueprints. You investigate the breach at her lab in Kúshlah, follow the thief through two Σ-Dilithium mining fields, and finally confront Celea’s protégé, Vutree, in Zohtera and decide her fate. All three parts are recommended for level 78 and need warp 5,000 to complete, and the chain is picked up in Ca’Rama. It pays 5,257,000 7★ Raw Crystal, 5,119,000 7★ Raw Gas, 2,195,000 Σ-Parsteel, 6,000 Σ-Romulan Credits and 86.1 billion Romulan Points, and the final choice can double the Part 3 payout. It is a good chain for Romulan-leaning commanders.

Completing one part opens the next. Every reward bundle in the chain pays 28.7 billion Romulan Points and 1 Gravimetric Data and takes away 33.6 billion Federation Points and 15.8 billion Klingon Points.
Pride and Vanity Part 1
Celea’s blueprints are gone. You reach her lab in Kúshlah, spend Σ-Dilithium to trace the breach, find Setcha and chase a departing vessel before regrouping at the lab.

- Pursue the leaving vessel (Kúshlah).
- Return to the lab and create a plan (Kúshlah).

Pride and Vanity Part 2
The thief’s trail runs through the Σ-Dilithium mining fields. You check the first field in Rha’Pir, clear some hostiles, mine at the second field in Charon’s Edge to get close to a suspicious vessel, and follow the signature of the stolen rods to Zohtera.
- Locate the first Σ-Dilithium mining field (Rha’Pir).
- Defeat 3 hostiles of level 78 or higher.
- Locate the second Σ-Dilithium mining field (Charon’s Edge).
- Mine 10 Σ-Dilithium to get closer to the suspicious vessel.
- Follow the vessel with the rods’ signature (Zohtera).

Pride and Vanity Part 3
Now you retrieve the blueprints from Vutree. An attacking vessel has to go first, then you confront Celea’s protégé in Zohtera, clear more hostiles and decide what happens to her.
- Defeat the attacking vessel (Zohtera, enemy strength ~336,058,863,539,378).
- Confront Celea’s protege (Zohtera).
- Defeat 5 hostiles of level 78 or higher.
- Decide Vutree’s fate.
Let Vutree go
You spare Vutree, betting that she will not go to the Zhat Vash and that mercy might change her mind.
- Return to the lab (Kúshlah).

You decide her knowledge is too great a risk to the Order and the synths.

Part 3 needs warp 5,000 to complete on either path.
Tips for completing Pride and Vanity
Have 109K Σ-Dilithium ready at the start. Part 1 needs it to find the breach clues, and the chain pays no Σ-Dilithium back.
Part 2 has no named fight, but it does ask for 3 hostiles of level 78 or higher and 10 Σ-Dilithium mined at Charon’s Edge, so bring a ship that can mine as well as fight, or plan to swap.
Part 3 is where the combat is: the attacking vessel at about 336 trillion strength and 5 hostiles of level 78 or higher. Destroying Vutree’s ship adds one more fight at about 325 trillion, and in return it pays the Part 3 rewards twice, including the faction points. That makes it the better-paying path for anyone after Romulan Points, while letting her go avoids the extra Federation and Klingon losses.
