Mission Meridian Interlock Installation

Meridian Interlock Installation is a short progression mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that moves the Meridian questline forward by asking you to grow your station. The single objective is to raise Operations to level 34. Clear it and you earn 1,500 Dilithium and a Meridian Iso Warp Interlock, then roll straight into the next installation mission. There is no travel and no combat involved.

Meridian Interlock Installation objectives

The mission has one objective:

  • Upgrade your Operations building to level 34.

Operations is the central building of your station, and its level sets the ceiling for most of your other buildings and systems. Reaching level 34 usually means you have already brought several supporting buildings up to matching levels and spent the resources each of those upgrades demands. Because the objective is a building level rather than a location, you complete this mission entirely at your own base. When Operations finishes its upgrade to 34, the objective clears on its own and the mission resolves.

Where and what warp

There is nothing to fly out to. The mission lists a warp of 1 to start and 1 to complete, which is the game’s way of saying you never leave home to finish it. All of the effort sits in your build queue: line up the resources, start the Operations upgrade, and wait for it to complete. If you are used to missions that send you across several systems, this one is a change of pace and rewards patience over positioning.

Meridian Interlock Installation rewards

Finishing the upgrade pays out:

  • 1,500 Dilithium
  • 1 Meridian Iso Warp Interlock

Dilithium is a flexible currency you can put toward research, speedups, and other station needs, so the 1,500 here is a useful top-up rather than a one-time-use item. The Meridian Iso Warp Interlock is an installation component from the Meridian mission series, and it is the piece this step is named for. Completing the mission also unlocks the next step, Meridian Regulator Installation. The mission follows Absolution Arc 1, so if you have just wrapped that arc you are in the right spot to begin here.

Tips

Since the only requirement is Operations level 34, treat this mission as a checkpoint on your station’s overall growth rather than a task you rush in one sitting.

  • Check the Operations level 34 upgrade requirements early. It draws on both resources and prerequisite building levels, so knowing what you are short on lets you stockpile ahead of time instead of stalling at the last step.
  • If you are still a few levels below 34, keep leveling your other station buildings in the background. Operations generally needs a spread of supporting buildings at or near its level before it will upgrade.
  • This step sits in the Meridian installation sequence and leads into Meridian Regulator Installation, so expect more upgrade-gated missions of the same shape as you work down the chain. Planning your resource income around them saves time later.
  • Hold on to some of the Dilithium reward if you plan to speed up later Meridian steps, since the following installations follow the same upgrade-and-wait pattern and reward a little forward planning.
