Upgrade Operations to Level 11

Upgrade Operations to Level 11 is a station mission that never sends you anywhere. The only objective is the upgrade itself, the recommended level is 1, and both the warp to pick it up and the warp to finish are 1. The payout is 1,025 Tritanium and seven 1 Minute Repair Speed Ups, and clearing it opens the next part of the chain.

Upgrade Operations to Level 11 objectives

One objective, no branches.

  • Upgrade Operations to Level 11.

Operations houses the command center and your station’s main computer. That makes this mission a marker on your base build order rather than a task with steps of its own. It ticks over the moment the construction timer ends. Nothing has to be triggered, escorted, or handed in, and no hostile sits between you and the reward.

Where and what warp

Warp 1 to start, warp 1 to complete. Those numbers mean the whole thing happens in your home system, so ship condition and warp range have no say in whether you can accept or finish it.

The recommended level is 1. That reads oddly next to an Operations upgrade this far along, but it reflects the mission being available from the start rather than the resources the upgrade actually asks for. In practice you will reach this one on the back of a long build queue, not on day one.

Upgrade Operations to Level 11 rewards

1,025 Tritanium and seven 1 Minute Repair Speed Ups. Finishing it also unlocks the next part of the chain.

The Tritanium is worth having and worth putting in perspective. Just over a thousand of it lands well short of what an Operations upgrade at this tier costs, so treat it as a partial refund on a build you were going to run anyway. It arrives outside your own generator output, which is the part that matters when your mines are the bottleneck.

Seven minutes of repair speed ups is the more interesting half. One-minute items are easy to dismiss individually, but a stack of seven can clear a light repair outright and get a ship back into a grind rotation without a wait.

Tips

Queue the upgrade before you log off. It completes on a build timer and the mission only closes when the timer does, so starting it at the end of a session puts the reward in your inbox by the next login instead of costing you active play time.

Check your Tritanium balance first, not after. Operations is among the more expensive buildings on the station and the cost climbs steeply through the double-digit levels. The 1,025 coming back will not cover the gap, so plan the spend around what your mines and any current event income can supply.

Operations sets the ceiling for everything else on your station, and no other building goes past its level. If a mine, a warehouse, or the shipyard is refusing an upgrade, this is usually the reason the queue is stuck. Clearing the mission is worth more than the listed rewards suggest because of what it unblocks behind it.

Save the speed ups for a moment when the clock is the problem. Seven minutes will not rescue a badly wrecked ship, but during a mining or hostile grind it can cover the short repair that would otherwise break your rhythm.

If you are working through the station upgrade chain in order, expect the pattern to keep repeating: single objective, no travel, a Tritanium refund that grows with each level, and a handful of speed ups. The value is in the Operations level, and the mission is the game paying you a little to do what your build order already required.
