A War on Two Fronts is a storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you defend the P’Jem system from an opportunistic Klingon assault. It can be picked up at warp 1 and needs warp 53 to finish. You destroy two Klingon ships at around 1.4 million strength each, then decide whether to capture the Klingon commander or let him go. Both paths pay 100,000 Federation reputation and a Damaged Datapad; the choice decides whether you get 1,500 Federation or 1,500 Klingon Recruit Tokens.
A War on Two Fronts objectives
The first four objectives are shared:
- Make haste to the P’Jem system. Location: P’Jem.
- Destroy the Klingon assault ship. Location: P’Jem. Enemy strength is roughly 1,426,536.
- Destroy the lead Klingon ship. Location: P’Jem. Enemy strength is roughly 1,385,777.
- Capture the Klingon or let him go?
Both fights are in P’Jem and come back to back. The fourth objective is the choice split, and each path has one final step.
Path 1: capture the Klingon
- Return to the Admiral with Klingon hostage. Location: Benzar.
Rewards for this path: 1,500 Federation Recruit Tokens, 600 Federation Credits, 100,000 Federation Points and 1 Damaged Datapad, with a loss of 151,200 Klingon Points and 33,600 Romulan Points.
Path 2: let him go
- Take some wounded to a safer system. Location: Alpha Centauri.
Rewards for this path: 1,500 Klingon Recruit Tokens, 600 Federation Credits, 100,000 Federation Points and 1 Damaged Datapad, with a loss of 151,200 Klingon Points and 33,600 Romulan Points.
Where and what warp
A War on Two Fronts has no named pickup system and can be picked up at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 53, which covers P’Jem and the final stop in Benzar or Alpha Centauri.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The two Klingon ships, each around 1.4 million strength, are the real bar.

Which path to pick
Everything except the recruit tokens is identical, so the choice is simply which faction’s recruitment you want to feed. Pick Path 1 if you pull Federation officers, Path 2 if you want Klingon Recruit Tokens. The reputation effects are the same either way.

All three pay 600 Federation Credits, 100,000 Federation Points and a Damaged Datapad. This mission has the highest warp of the three.
Tips
Repair between the two Klingon ships. They are consecutive objectives in P’Jem, and the second is almost as strong as the first.
Decide on your recruit tokens before the choice. The reward difference is only the token type, so pick the faction you recruit from. More missions are on the mission guide.
