It Is Only Logical is a five-part mission chain that begins with the destruction of a Vulcan cargo ship and ends with you stopping a conflict between the Vulcans and the Andorians. Along the way you trace a trellium shipment, gather evidence for T’Kin and Andorian diplomats, and discover that T’Kin’s own behavior is the problem. Every part is recommended for level 25. Part 1 needs warp 25, and the rest need 17 or 18. The chain pays 1,171,000 Parsteel, 159,000 Tritanium, 38,000 Dilithium, 35,000 Officer XP, 500 Latinum and a Relocation Token. A 1.5M Parsteel repair bill in Part 2 is the cost to plan for.

It Is Only Logical Part 1
A Vulcan cargo ship has been destroyed, and you need to find out why. You locate it in Lainey, fight off the marauders, recover what is left and report to Captain Chedet in Hann.

- Deactivate the nacelles in Lainey (enemy strength ~44,329).
- Collect the remaining cargo and bodies in Lainey.

It Is Only Logical Part 2
The cargo was trellium, and you retrace where the shipment came from. The trail runs through an ore repository in Earorfilad that needs repairs before it will help, and ends with officer Kitosh.
- Retrace the Vulcan ship’s route, in Earorfilad.
- Contact the ore repository in Earorfilad.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 25 or higher.
- Donate 1.5M Parsteel to repair the repository.
- Find officer Kitosh in Earorfilad.
Warp to complete: 17. Rewards: 119,000 Tritanium, 500 Federation Recruit Token and 803,000 Parsteel.
It Is Only Logical Part 3
T’Kin and the Andorian diplomats need more evidence. You follow T’Kin to Angosia Prime, dig into Kitosh’s involvement, recover deleted data and end up disabling an Andorian ship.

It Is Only Logical Part 4
T’Kin starts acting suspiciously. After presenting your evidence to the Andorians, you get into T’Kin’s office in Rada Ban and bring new evidence about T’Kin back to Angosia.

It Is Only Logical Part 5
The Vulcans and Andorians are on the edge of open conflict. You stall both sides in Angosia, stop an Andorian Battle Cruiser, disable T’Kin’s ship and escort T’Kin to the authorities in Hann.

- Stop the Andorian Battle Cruiser in Angosia (enemy strength ~53,959).
- Disable T’Kin’s ship in Angosia (enemy strength ~54,559).
- Escort T’Kin to the authorities, in Hann.
Warp to complete: 18. Rewards: 500 Latinum, 7,500 Ship XP and 16,000 Dilithium.
Tips for completing It Is Only Logical
Part 1 is the only part that needs warp 25; after that nothing goes past warp 18. If your ship can reach Lainey, the rest of the chain is within range.
Two payments stand out. Part 2 asks for 1.5M Parsteel before you find Kitosh, and Part 1 has only paid 368,000 Parsteel by then, so most of it comes from your own stock; Part 2 pays 803,000 back once it is done. Part 3 needs 10K G2 Raw Crystal, which the chain’s rewards do not cover in time.
The last two fights are the toughest. The Andorian Battle Cruiser and T’Kin’s ship in Part 5 are both around 54,000 to 54,600 strength, compared with about 44,000 to 45,000 for everything earlier.
Are the It Is Only Logical rewards worth it?
It depends on your Parsteel. The chain pays 1,171,000 Parsteel against a 1.5M donation, so on Parsteel alone you finish behind. What you gain is 159,000 Tritanium, 38,000 Dilithium, 35,000 Officer XP, 500 Latinum, 650 recruit tokens and a Relocation Token. Run it when you have Parsteel to spare.
