How Little We Know

How Little We Know is a single Deep Space Nine mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 20. Someone inside the Bajoran Provisional Government is leaking militia deployments and convoy routes, and Kira wants your help finding the mole without tipping anyone off. You pick it up at Bajor, need warp 25 to start and finish, and earn 60,000 Parsteel and three 1 Hour Repair Speed Ups. Everything happens in the Bajor system, with one light fight.

How Little We Know objectives

There are six objectives, all at Bajor, and no choice split:

  • Meet with Kira on Bajor. Location: Bajor.
  • Track down the signal. Location: Bajor.
  • Narrow down the origin point. Location: Bajor.
  • Pinpoint the origin of the signal. Location: Bajor.
  • Disable the vessel. Location: Bajor. Enemy strength about 18,400.
  • Return the spy to Bajor. Location: Bajor.

Kira cannot even tell First Minister Shakaar, since nobody knows who the mole is watching. The latest leak concerns Starfleet’s communications with Bajor. The spy hides the signal with tricks the Resistance used during the Occupation: quantum interference, a bounce off a subspace buoy, and a ghost signal masked with beta radiation. Kira recognises each one and worries the mole fought in the Resistance. When you corner the ship, the spy turns out to be a Vedek who calls herself a daughter of the Prophets and says Bajor has only traded one oppressor for another. Kira has a good idea who is stirring up this zealotry.

Where and what warp

You pick up the mission at Bajor, and both the start and the finish need warp 25. Every objective is at Bajor, so once you arrive there is no further travel. The recommended level is 20.

The spy’s vessel, at roughly 18,400 strength, is the only fight, and you only need to disable it.

Tips

This is the cheaper of the two Bajor missions. There is no donation, and the single fight is light for level 20.

Any combat ship will do. You only need to disable the spy’s vessel, and there is no travel beyond Bajor.

Other Deep Space Nine missions are on the Deep Space Nine arc page, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
