IDIQ 10: Infinite Death

IDIQ 10: Infinite Death opens the three-mission Infinite Death story in the IDIQ series, and in-game it is listed as Infinite Death Part 1. A galactic anomaly pulls your ship into the mirror universe in the mid-23rd century, where a Terran fleet is gathering for Cadet Spock’s final exam. The game lists a recommended level of 61, the mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 50 to complete, and it takes place in Mirror Sol and Mirror Bajor. Rewards are 450,000,000 Dilithium, 30,000 6★ Raw Ore, 200 3 Hour Speed Ups and a 2 Hr Peace Shield. There is no named fight, only five hostiles to clear.

IDIQ 10: Infinite Death Part 1

The story line asks what awaits you inside the anomaly. The answer is a Terran Empire where Spock’s exam targets Bajoran slaves, and you try to stop his fleet at Bajor.

  • Find out where you are, in Mirror Sol.
  • Monitor the Terran fleet, in Mirror Sol.
  • Intercept Spock, in Mirror Bajor.
  • Defeat 5 hostiles of Level 35 or higher.
  • Retreat, to Mirror Sol.

You start by working out where the anomaly has taken you and listening in on the Terran fleet in Mirror Sol. Then you intercept Spock at Mirror Bajor and clear five hostiles of level 35 or higher before falling back to Mirror Sol. There is no choice split. Warp to complete: 50.

Rewards: 1 2 Hr Peace Shield, 450,000,000 Dilithium, 200 3 Hour Speed Up, 30,000 6★ Raw Ore.

Finishing this mission opens IDIQ 11: Infinite Death.

The Infinite Death missions compared

All three Infinite Death missions are recommended for level 61. The fights get harder as the story goes on, ending with a Tesseract in IDIQ 12.

Tips for completing IDIQ 10: Infinite Death

This is the gentlest mission of the Infinite Death story. The five hostiles only need to be level 35 or higher, which is well below the level 61 recommendation, so any combat ship can clear them.

The route is short: Mirror Sol, Mirror Bajor and back to Mirror Sol, all within warp 50. Plan to clear the hostiles near Mirror Bajor after intercepting Spock, then retreat.

Start saving 3.6B Tritanium now. IDIQ 11 asks for it to protect your ship, and IDIQ 12 ends with a Tesseract listed at about 3.5 billion strength.

Are the IDIQ 10: Infinite Death rewards worth it?

Yes. 450 million Dilithium, 30,000 6★ Raw Ore, 200 3 Hour Speed Ups and a 2 Hr Peace Shield are a good return for five easy hostiles and a short trip. It also opens the rest of the Infinite Death story, which ends with a Paragon Recruit Token in IDIQ 12. For more IDIQ and level 61 missions, see the Origin Sector arc and the STFC mission guide.
