Portcullis is a Romulan faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you collect weapons systems from Gorn ships to devise a stronger defense against them. You pick it up in Altanea, and both starting and completing it need warp 38. The job is three fights in Carraya: a Gorn Explorer, a Gorn Battleship and a Gorn Interceptor, each at roughly 900,000 strength. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 25,000,000 Parsteel, 1,000 Romulan Recruit Tokens and 100,000 Romulan Points.
Portcullis objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Destroy a Gorn Explorer ship. Location: Carraya. Enemy strength is roughly 910,378.
- Destroy a Gorn Battleship. Location: Carraya. Enemy strength is roughly 902,683.
- Destroy a Gorn Interceptor. Location: Carraya. Enemy strength is roughly 937,932.
All three fights are in Carraya, one after the other. Each Gorn ship is a different hull type, which fits the story of collecting a full set of their weapons systems. The Interceptor is the strongest of the three by a small margin, and it comes last.
Added together, the three Gorn ships come to about 2.75 million strength. Carraya is a Klingon system, so this Romulan mission sends you across the border to find them.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Altanea, and both the start and the finish need warp 38. Carraya is the only system where anything happens.
The recommended level shows as 1. Three fights of about 900,000 strength each, back to back, are the real requirement.

The mission raises your Romulan standing by 100,000 and lowers your Federation standing by 96,000. Completing it also unlocks the next mission in the chain.

Portcullis pays the most Parsteel of the group and adds 1,000 Romulan Recruit Tokens. It asks for three fights instead of one, but none of them is as strong as the single fight in Wire.
Tips
Repair between fights if you need to. Each Gorn ship is around 900,000 strength, and there is no break between them. A ship that wins the first on half hull will struggle with the Interceptor.
Plan for the next mission. Chemical Rain needs warp 53 and pays 3,458,000 Tritanium and 380 3★ Battleship Parts, with the same Romulan Credits and Points.
