Upgrade Shipyard: Level 11 is an early station mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Its one objective is to raise your Shipyard to level 11, it runs at warp 1 from start to finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the upgrade itself is the only requirement. The reward is 750 Tritanium, and finishing it unlocks the next station mission, Upgrade Operations to Level 12. It is a small bonus for an early upgrade.
Upgrade Shipyard: Level 11 objectives
The story line says the Shipyard gives access to new and more powerful ships. There is a single objective and no choice split:
- Upgrade Shipyard to Level 11.
No system, hostile or donation is involved. The mission completes when the Shipyard reaches level 11.
Where and what warp
Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. It all happens on your station.
The recommended level is listed as 1. Building Shipyard 11 is the real gate.
Upgrade Shipyard: Level 11 rewards
The reward is 750 Tritanium. Completing the mission unlocks the next station mission, Upgrade Operations to Level 12.
How Shipyard 11 compares with nearby Shipyard missions
Every Shipyard level in this range has its own mission. Current game data:
| Mission | Tritanium |
|---|---|
| Upgrade Shipyard: Level 9 | 350 |
| Upgrade Shipyard: Level 10 | 500 |
| Upgrade Shipyard: Level 11 | 750 |
| Upgrade Shipyard: Level 13 | 1,500 |
The Tritanium reward rises by half at each level from 10 to 11, and it doubles again by level 13. These missions only pay Tritanium, with no speed ups attached.
What Shipyard levels unlock around here
Shipyard level is one of the build requirements for new ships. Current game data for two Grade 2 ships in this range:
| Ship | Type | Shipyard needed | Blueprints | Build cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phindra | Interceptor | 10 | 30 | 6,500 Tritanium |
| Turas | Explorer | 12 | 35 | 12,500 Tritanium |
Shipyard 11 sits between them. The Shipyard also raises ship construction speed and tier up speed with each level; current game data puts both bonuses at 14% at level 10 and 24% at level 15.
For scale, current game data for the Shipyard milestones on either side of this mission:
| Level | Cost | Build time (unboosted) | Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 150 Tritanium, 10,000 Parsteel | 3h 20m | Operations 10, R&D Department 10 |
| 15 | 750 Tritanium, 45,900 Parsteel, 50 2★ Common Refined Crystal | 16h 24m | Operations 15, R&D Department 15, Dilithium Warehouse 12 |
The 750 Tritanium from this mission matches the full Tritanium cost of Shipyard level 15, so it is worth holding onto if that upgrade is on your list.
The R&D Department’s own level 11 upgrade, which the previous mission covers, costs 8,160 Parsteel and 12 Dilithium with a 2h 50m build, and needs Operations 11 and Academy 11.
Tips
Save the Tritanium for ship builds. At this stage 750 Tritanium covers the full build cost of an ECS Fortunate, and the Phindra and Turas both need more.
Keep the station line moving. The mission before this one, Upgrade R&D Department to Level 11, pays 875 Tritanium and seven 1 Minute Repair Speed Ups, and the Operations 12 mission comes next.
