The Climb is a level 62 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you take Reman troops on their first field exercise. It starts in Tir Duha, needs warp 1,000 to start and to finish, and sends you to Lekin-196 for a hostile grind and a fight with the Jem’Hadar. The reward is 218,000 Latinum and 277,000 Raw Σ-Tritanium, plus Romulan Credits and faction points. Expect two fights and 20 kills, so it takes longer than most missions at this level.
The Climb objectives
Yurx, who leads the Reman troops, wants to show off a new Interceptor before the exercise begins. The five objectives run in a fixed order, with no choice split:
- Test the might of the Reman Interceptor. Location: Tir Duha (enemy strength ~2,643,533,500).
- Escort the Reman troops to Lekin-196. Location: Lekin-196.
- Defeat 20 hostiles of Level 60 or higher.
- Defeat the Jem’Hadar. Location: Lekin-196 (enemy strength ~2,632,999,787).
- Bring the Remans home to Tir Duha. Location: Tir Duha.
The first step is a friendly sparring match against the Interceptor. Lord Vrellok then sends the troops out with a warning that this is the field, not a drill. At Lekin-196 the Remans break formation to attack hostiles, and you lead by example with the 20 kills.
A Jem’Hadar ship then orders the Romulan vessels out of the system in the name of the Founders. Yurx calls a retreat for his troops but decides that beating the lone Jem’Hadar ship will lift their morale, so you take it on before escorting everyone back to Tir Duha for the debrief.

The mission is picked up in Tir Duha and needs warp 1,000 to start and to complete. Only two systems are involved: Tir Duha at both ends and Lekin-196 in the middle. The hostile objective names no system, so any level 60 or higher hostiles count. The recommended level is 62.

The Climb and New Remus compared
Tir Duha is also the pickup for New Remus, another level 62 Romulan mission tied to the Reman Initiative. Both need warp 1,000.

The Climb pays Latinum and Σ-Tritanium; New Remus pays repair speed ups and a larger Σ-Parsteel amount. If you are working through the Tir Duha missions, run both.
Tips
Send a combat ship. The two named fights are close in strength, about 2.64 billion for the Interceptor and 2.63 billion for the Jem’Hadar, so a ship that clears the first will handle the second.
Do the 20 kills where it suits you. Hostiles of level 60 or higher anywhere count, which lets you grind close to Lekin-196 or wherever your ship already farms. The Dominion page covers where the Jem’Hadar operate in the wider game.
The 218,000 Latinum is the standout reward. The faction points add 114 million Romulan reputation but take away about 113 million Klingon and 170 million Federation reputation, so check faction reputation if you are balancing standings.
