Star Trek Fleet Command Map

This is the interactive Star Trek Fleet Command map on this wiki: a browsable view of the galaxy you can use to plan where to mine, hunt hostiles and run armadas. Open it below on a desktop browser for the best experience. Under the map you will find how STFC space is laid out, how system level and warp decide where you can go, and where to find the full system-by-system lists on this wiki.

How to use the STFC map

Every point on the galaxy map is a star system, and every system has a level. The level tells you roughly how strong the hostiles there are and which resources you can mine. Before you plot a course, check two things: whether the system level suits your ships, and whether your ship has the warp range to get there. A system you cannot reach does not help you, no matter what it holds.

Use the map to answer the questions that come up every session:

  • Where is the nearest system with the ore, gas or crystal I need?
  • Which systems in my level band hold hostiles worth grinding?
  • Where do armadas spawn, and can my alliance reach them?
  • Which territory am I flying into, and whose space is it?

Once you have a system in mind, open its page from the systems list. Each system page lists its level, warp requirement, mines, hostiles and armada targets in one place.

How STFC space is organized

The galaxy currently holds 2,599 star systems, running from level 1 to level 80. The three founding factions each control a large block of territory, and the rest of the map is neutral space, regional space and special zones added over time.

Territory Systems System levels
Federation 245 17 to 80
Romulan 242 17 to 80
Klingon 238 17 to 80
Transogen 57 31 to 70
Krenim Imperium 39 42 to 70
Exiles 31 26 to 70
Dominion 29 36 to 60
Neutral and unaligned space 1,802 1 to 80

Faction territory matters because of reputation. Attacking a faction’s ships and armadas moves your standing with that faction and its rivals. The faction reputation guide explains how that works and what each standing unlocks.

STFC systems by level

Most of the map sits in the middle levels, where the bulk of the game’s progression happens. This is how the systems split across level bands.

System level Systems
1 to 9 221
10 to 19 107
20 to 29 284
30 to 39 411
40 to 49 502
50 to 59 395
60 to 69 360
70 to 79 282
80 37

Of those 2,599 systems, 1,060 have mines and 1,189 are deep space. Deep space is where warp requirements climb fastest, so that is where range starts to limit you.

Warp range and getting around

Your ship’s warp range decides which systems you can reach. Low-level systems in a faction’s home space need very little warp, while the top systems in deep space need warp in the thousands. When a system looks good on the map but sits outside your range, you have two options: upgrade the ship’s warp engines, or find a similar system closer to home. Superhighways shorten some routes once you unlock them through their missions.

Armadas follow the same rule. Before you call an armada in alliance chat, check that everyone joining can reach it. The armada locations finder lists every armada system with its level and warp requirement.

Where to go from the map

The map is a starting point. For detail, these pages go deeper.

  • The systems list links every star system page with its level, mines and hostiles.
  • The hostile guide shows where each hostile spawns and what it drops.
  • The armada finder filters armadas by type, level and warp.
  • The mission guide covers mission chains and story arcs, including the ones that send you across the map.

Star Trek Fleet Command map FAQ

Is there an interactive map for Star Trek Fleet Command?

Yes. The map at the top of this page is an interactive STFC galaxy map, and every system also has its own page on this wiki with its level, warp, mines and hostiles.

How many systems are in STFC?

There are 2,599 star systems, from level 1 to level 80, split between Federation, Romulan and Klingon territory, smaller regions like Dominion and Krenim space, and neutral space.

Why can’t I reach a system on the map?

Almost always because of warp range. Each system needs a minimum warp to reach, and the number climbs quickly in deep space. Upgrade your ship’s warp engines or pick a closer system.

Does the map work on mobile?

It is designed for desktop screens. On a phone, search the systems list instead and open the system page you need.
