The Kehra is a ship-building mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. The mission text asks you to research the ship, acquire its blueprints and build it in the shipyard, and the one objective completes when the Kehra is built. The recommended level is 1 and it needs warp 1 to start and to complete. The reward is 200 Ultra Recruit Tokens, and it unlocks The Vahklas. The work is all in collecting blueprints and meeting the build requirements.

The Kehra objectives

There is a single objective and no choice split:

  • Build the Kehra.

The mission description breaks that into three stages: research the ship, acquire its blueprints, and build it in the Shipyard. Only the build itself is tracked as an objective.

What building the Kehra needs

The ship data lists these requirements for the Kehra:

Requirement Amount
Blueprints 40
Shipyard level 20
Research One research project at level 1
Tritanium 250,000
Dilithium 10,000

The ship data does not name the research project; the mission’s own text simply tells you to research the ship first. These are base values from the game data.

The Kehra itself is a grade 3, common rarity Independent interceptor. Its in-game description calls it a Tellarite design named after one of the moons of Tellar Prime. Its ship ability, Armor Breaker, raises its Armor Piercing against Battleships.

Where and what warp

This mission is completed at your station. It needs warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, and no system is involved. The recommended level is 1.

The mission before this one is The Envoy.

The Kehra rewards

Reward Amount
Ultra Recruit Token 200

Completing it also unlocks the next mission, The Vahklas.

The Kehra and the Vahklas compared

The next mission is named after another grade 3 Independent ship, the Vahklas. Its build needs are a step up from the Kehra:

Ship Hull type Blueprints Shipyard level Build cost
Kehra Interceptor 40 20 250,000 Tritanium, 10,000 Dilithium
Vahklas Explorer 50 22 500,000 Tritanium, 20,000 Dilithium

The Vahklas costs exactly twice the Tritanium and Dilithium of the Kehra and needs ten more blueprints and two more Shipyard levels.

Tips

Check your Shipyard level first. At level 20 it is the hard gate, and no amount of blueprints helps until it is met.

Save the Tritanium and Dilithium while you gather blueprints. 250,000 Tritanium and 10,000 Dilithium is a sizeable cost at the point where Shipyard 20 is new, and having both ready means you can build as soon as the 40th blueprint arrives.

If you plan to build the Vahklas next, keep saving after the Kehra is done: it needs 500,000 Tritanium and 20,000 Dilithium, with Shipyard 22. For every other mission by level, see the mission guide.
