Firefighting is a story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you answer a distress signal for the Mayflower. The game lists a recommended level of 1, it starts at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to complete, and it has two Suliban fights, at roughly 54,559 and 75,312 power. The reward is 100,000 Tritanium, 170 3★ Battleship Parts and a Federation reputation gain. Finishing it unlocks A Radical Move.
Firefighting objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Track the signal to Koltiska. Location: Koltiska.
- Defeat the Suliban ambush. Location: Koltiska. Enemy strength is roughly 54,559.
- Return to Lorillia. Location: Lorillia.
- Defeat the Suliban assault. Location: Lorillia. Enemy strength is roughly 75,312.
- Rendezvous on the Mayflower at Starbase 82. Location: Lorillia.
- Return wounded scientists to your Station.
The signal leads you into a Suliban ambush in Koltiska. After that fight you head back to Lorillia, where a second and stronger Suliban force is waiting. Once it is cleared you meet the Mayflower at Starbase 82 and carry the wounded scientists home.
Where and what warp
Firefighting is available from warp 1 but needs warp 19 to complete. The work is split between Koltiska and Lorillia, and the last step returns you to your Station.
The recommended level is listed as 1. The two Suliban fights are the better guide: the second one, at around 75,312, is the harder of the pair, and your ship needs to win it after already fighting once in Koltiska.

Completing the mission also unlocks the next one in the storyline, A Radical Move.
The 170 3★ Battleship Parts are the standout line if you are working on a battleship. The Tritanium is a solid top-up for station upgrades at the stage where warp 19 is reachable.
Firefighting and A Radical Move compared
The next mission keeps the same reputation rewards but raises the stakes.

Both pay 130 Federation Credits, 2,000 Federation Points and a 1,800 Klingon Points loss. A Radical Move needs warp 22 and adds a Nausicaan Raider that is several times stronger than anything in Firefighting, so treat Firefighting as the warm-up.
Tips
Repair between the two fights if you can. The route takes you from Koltiska to Lorillia, and the stronger Suliban group is the one waiting at the end.
Watch your Klingon standing. Each of these missions costs 1,800 Klingon Points, so running the chain adds up. The faction reputation page explains what the points do.
