A Home That Only We Know is a scouting mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you look for a new home for the refugees on your station. It can be picked up at warp 1 and needs warp 19 to finish, with stops in Francihk, Skyedark and Rooth. There are no fights and no donations. The reward is 33,000 Dilithium, and finishing it unlocks Unlikely Allies. It is an easy mission for any ship with the range.

A Home That Only We Know objectives

There are four objectives and no choice split:

  • Scout Francihk for a suitable planet. Location: Francihk.
  • Scout Skyedark for a suitable planet. Location: Skyedark.
  • Scout Rooth for a suitable planet. Location: Rooth.
  • Return to your Station.

The mission is three scouting stops followed by a trip home. Each stop is a different system, and they come in a fixed order: Francihk first, then Skyedark, then Rooth. Once Rooth is scouted, recall to your station to finish.

Where and what warp

A Home That Only We Know has no named pickup system and can be picked up at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 19, which covers all three systems.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. With no combat, the warp 19 range is the only real requirement.

A Home That Only We Know rewards

Reward Amount
Dilithium 33,000

Completing this mission unlocks the next mission, Unlikely Allies.

33,000 Dilithium is a good return for a mission that only asks you to fly to three systems and back. Dilithium is used across buildings and research, so it rarely goes to waste.

What comes next

Unlikely Allies is a much bigger job. You help the Orions deal with a Borg incursion, and it asks for a lot more than travel:

Mission Warp to complete What you do Rewards
A Home That Only We Know 19 Scout three systems, return home 33,000 Dilithium
Unlikely Allies 18 Find the Orion station in Pasadoran, defeat 15 level 25+ hostiles, collect 3,000 Inert and 300 Charged Nanoprobes, donate the 300 Charged Nanoprobes 24 each 3★ Uncommon Refined Ore, Gas, Crystal

Unlikely Allies needs slightly less warp, but the hostile grind and the nanoprobe collection take far longer. Start stockpiling nanoprobes early if you plan to move straight on.

Tips

Use a ship you can spare. None of the objectives involve combat, so a survey or mining ship with warp 19 range can do the whole mission while your combat ship keeps grinding.

Fly the route in order. Francihk, Skyedark and Rooth have to be scouted in sequence, so plan the trip that way rather than going to the nearest system first.

Put the Dilithium toward your next building or research upgrade. Unlikely Allies pays refined materials rather than Dilithium, so this is the Dilithium payout for this part of the story.

The mission before this one in the story is Unrelenting. More missions at this range are on the mission guide.
