Doomsday is a ten-part story chain in TOS Arc 2, built around the wreck of the USS Constellation and Captain Decker’s hunt for the fleet that crippled her. Every part is tuned for level 27, it opens on Starbase 74 in Gemet, and the run pays out roughly 5.9 million Parsteel, 380 3★ Battleship Parts, Recruit Tokens, and shards for TOS James T. Kirk. If you are around level 27 and want Kirk shards from story content, this chain is one of the better uses of your time.

Tips for completing Doomsday
Stockpile resources before you start. The chain asks for 600,000 Tritanium in donations across Parts 1 and 8, plus 50,000 Dilithium in Part 7, and another 75,000 Dilithium if you take the trade path in Part 4. Running dry mid-chain means parking the story while you farm.
Warp range matters most at the front. Part 1 needs warp 25 and Part 9 needs 23, while Part 4 asks for 22. Everything else sits at 19 or 20, so a ship that can reach 25 clears the whole chain comfortably.
Combat scales as you go. Named targets in Parts 2 and 3 land near 101,500, the mid-chain fights sit around 104,000, and the last three parts climb past 130,000. Repair time is the real cost in Parts 8 and 10, which is why the 60 repair speed ups from Part 8 are worth holding rather than spending.
Plan around the routing, too. Vendus A and Huebr sit in Romulan space and Enthra sits in Klingon space, so the chain drags you through territory where your faction standing takes hits if you are farming there anyway.
On the Part 4 choice, paying 75,000 Dilithium finishes the part in two steps and hands you a 1 Day Peace Shield. Mining 750 Raw 3★ Ore takes longer but returns 510,000 Tritanium, which covers most of the Part 8 donation. Newer level 27 accounts usually come out ahead mining.
On the Part 9 choice, remaining silent gives 2 TOS Spock shards, 510,000 Parsteel, and refined crystal. Defending Kirk gives 200 Recruit Tokens and refined ore. If you are building the TOS crew, the Spock shards are the better pick, since Recruit Tokens are easier to come by elsewhere.
Are the Doomsday rewards worth it?
Yes, for a level 27 account. The chain hands over about 5.9 million Parsteel, 380 3★ Battleship Parts, a stack of speed ups, and shards for two TOS officers, against 600,000 Tritanium and 50,000 Dilithium in donations. The officer shards alone justify the run, and the Parsteel arrives right when base upgrades start getting expensive. Ten parts at a single level tier also means no waiting to level up partway through.
