Ridgeless is a level 64 side mission in Star Trek Fleet Command that follows a day in the life of Derek, a human raised by Klingons in House Prak. It is picked up in Wq’al, needs warp 1,200 to start and warp 1,250 to complete, and every located objective is in LuchenmoH. There are two fights, a barista of about 4.19 billion strength and Derek’s brother at about 4.03 billion, and a Dilithium payment to make his brother back off. The reward is 454,000 Raw Σ-Parsteel, 254,000 Latinum and 270 8 Hour Speed Ups.
Ridgeless objectives
There are seven objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Collect Derek of House Prak from LuchenmoH. Location: LuchenmoH.
- Visit Sarlog’s Blood Wine Emporium. Location: LuchenmoH.
- Defeat Bazak the Beserker Barista. Location: LuchenmoH. Enemy strength about 4,194,200,695.
- Take Derek to a family lunch. Location: LuchenmoH.
- Defeat Derek’s brother. Location: LuchenmoH. Enemy strength about 4,031,558,070.
- Pay Derek’s brother to back off.
- Return Derek to Gazh. Location: LuchenmoH.
Tsiros, head of House Prak, asks you to spend the day with his adopted son. Derek is struggling, and Tsiros hopes seeing other non-Klingons handle Klingon culture will help him. Derek thinks his father is ashamed of him and that an escort will only make people think he needs backup.
His first errand is to collect his father’s favourite blood wine from Sarlog’s on Juvev, with your crew member Narian along. The barista, Bazak, calls Derek Tsiros’s human pet, Derek challenges him to a duel, and Narian has Maia beam them out just before Bazak attacks. You supply a few barrels of blood wine from your own stores so Derek does not arrive at the family lunch on FoH empty-handed. There his brother Krorrd mocks him until Derek challenges him too. Beaten, Krorrd offers to leave Derek alone for a while in exchange for Dilithium. On the way home Derek admits his family are rough, but their hearts are in the right place, Krorrd excepted.

The mission is picked up in Wq’al at warp 1,200. Every located step is in LuchenmoH, and completing it needs warp 1,250. The recommended level is 64. The payment step has no location and is a donation of Dilithium.

Tips
Have a healthy Dilithium stockpile before you start, since the payment to Krorrd is a donation step you cannot skip. The two fights come in the order barista, then brother, and the brother is slightly weaker.
