Fall From Grace is a single story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, recommended for level 50. The scientist Kornas asks you to find his missing assistant, a hopeless apprentice he only keeps on because of a blood oath to the young Klingon’s late father. You pick it up in tIn jIb, you need warp 185 to start and warp 205 to finish, and the reward is 5★ Common Interceptor Parts, a KSG Datapad, Klingon Credits and a large block of Klingon Points. It is a short mission with no required fight, so the warp range is the only real hurdle.
Fall From Grace objectives
There are three steps before a choice, then one final step whichever way you choose:
- Find Kornas’s assistant. Location: tIn jIb.
- Follow the warp trail. Location: Callicoat.
- Decide how to deal with Tan’sha (choice split, see below).
- Return to Kornas. Location: ghuH.
Your science officer picks up a fading Klingon warp trail near tIn jIb and plots it to Callicoat. There you find the assistant held by Tan’sha, a Romulan who took him to ransom and is already tired of listening to him. The assistant insists he holds the secrets of Klingon dominance; Tan’sha insists he knows nothing of value.
The Tan’sha choice
The mission asks how you want to deal with Tan’sha. There are two answers:
- Attack her. You threaten force to get the assistant back, then return to Kornas in ghuH.
- Pay her. You offer to negotiate a price, then return to Kornas in ghuH.
Either way Tan’sha cuts you off and hands him over, deciding the ransom is not worth the trouble. The objective after the choice is the same, and so is the reward, so pick the answer that fits how you like to play the story.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in tIn jIb. You need warp 185 to reach the start and warp 205 to complete it, because the chase takes you out to Callicoat before you head back to ghuH. Those two numbers are the practical requirement for this mission, more than the recommended level of 50.
No hostile is listed at any step, and nothing is donated. The whole mission is travel plus one conversation.

Both choices pay exactly the same:

The Romulan Points line is negative. Completing the mission raises your Klingon standing by 1.1 million and lowers your Romulan standing by just under 2 million, on either path.
Tips
Check your Romulan standing before you accept. The Romulan Points loss is the one cost attached to this mission, and it applies no matter which answer you give Tan’sha. If you are working toward a Romulan reputation goal, that 1,980,000 point drop is worth planning around. The faction reputation page explains how these standings work.
If you are building Klingon reputation, this is an easy 1.1 million Klingon Points plus 800 Klingon Credits for three trips and no combat.
You do not need a combat ship. Send whichever ship has the longest warp range, since the jumps out to Callicoat and back to ghuH are the whole job.
