No Time For Subtlety is a level 66 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, picked up in Pteria-212. The Goraxi have learned that one of their own, Javaid, is held by Starfleet Security in the Fjorn system, and they want you to break him out. It needs warp 1300 to start and to complete, includes two fights, and pays 369,000 Raw Σ-Parsteel, 900,000,000 Dilithium and Romulan reputation. It is a quick jailbreak with two light fights.
No Time For Subtlety objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Find Starbase 79. Location: Fjorn.
- Defeat the Starfleet security ship. Location: Fjorn.
- Disable the U.S.S. Crozier. Location: Fjorn.
- Bring Javaid to the Goraxi settlement. Location: Pteria-212.
Javaid went missing months ago during an assault on Klingon space, and a Yridian information broker sold the Goraxi his location. Degar sends Goraxi members Moxx and Naseen with you. Their plan: you take out the USS Banks, a scout acting as the Starfleet fleet’s eyes and ears, while they get into position on the real target.
The Banks is listed at about 7.6 billion strength. The real target is the USS Crozier, a transport carrying dangerous prisoners, which warns you to stop. You disable it, at about 7.5 billion, and beam out Moxx, Naseen and Javaid as the rest of the Federation fleet closes in. Back at Pteria-212, Degar welcomes Javaid to the Goraxi’s new headquarters.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in Pteria-212, sends you to Fjorn for the jailbreak, and ends back in Pteria-212. Both the start and the finish need warp 1300, and the recommended level is 66.

Tips
The two fights come back to back in Fjorn, at about 7.6 and 7.5 billion strength. Both are lighter than the Northcutt in Clipped Wings, at about 19.9 billion, or the fights in most level 66 missions.
Javaid’s ship was lost in Goraxi Unbroken, so this mission reads well after that one, although neither unlocks the other.
