Unwelcome Advances is a level 73 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command for the Order, the Romulan group that keeps turning down invitations from the Forsaken. You pick it up in Baerhia and need warp 2,100 to start and to finish. After a trip to Tuleaj you choose between diplomacy with the Forsaken Council and a show of force. Both paths pay the same: 1,867,000 7★ Raw Crystal, 146,000 7★ Broken Explorer Parts, 1,800 Σ-Romulan Credits and 1 Gravimetric Data.
Unwelcome Advances objectives
The Forsaken have been sending the Order offers of an alliance through an Independent middleman in Tuleaj, and Kotoma wants it stopped. The first two steps are the same for everyone:
- Meet with the contact in Tuleaj.
- Answer the hail in Tuleaj.
- Decide what to do.
The contact, Falano, only passed the message along. While you talk, the Forsaken ship of Captain Matumo arrives and hails you, and he will not take the Order’s refusal at face value. Maia then offers two ways to settle it.
Take the diplomatic route
- Meet with the Forsaken Council in Alvolea.
- Defend yourself in Alvolea (enemy strength ~11,426,936,123,691).
- Return to the Order in Baerhia.
The meeting does not stay diplomatic. Gessa is willing to listen, but Vaxto insists the Forsaken and the Order must unite against House Sov and orders Captain Matumo to attack you.
Intimidate them with a show of force
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 73 or higher.
- Send a message in Tuleaj.
- Return to the Order in Baerhia.
On this path Maia charges weapons as soon as Matumo presses the offer again. Once the Forsaken ships are in disarray, you open a channel and tell them to leave the Order alone.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in Baerhia, and it needs warp 2,100 both to start and to complete. The travel stays inside a small group of systems: Tuleaj for the opening, Alvolea if you take the diplomatic route, and Baerhia for the hand-in. The recommended level is 73.

Tips
Choose by what your ship does best. The diplomatic route has a single fight against a Forsaken ship listed at about 11.4 trillion strength, which is a big step up from the roughly 4.3 trillion fights in the level 71 Order missions. The show of force skips that fight but asks for 10 kills of level 73 or higher hostiles, which suits a ship that already grinds hostiles at that level.
Watch your reputation. Every Order mission adds Romulan Points and takes away Federation and Klingon Points, and here the Federation loss (20.7 billion) is larger than the Romulan gain. See faction reputation before you commit to a long run of these missions. The Forsaken you turn away here first show up in the Margins chain, and their ships include the Forsaken Cruiser.
The Σ-Romulan Credits come on top of the Crystal and parts, so this is a useful mission for Romulan-aligned players. Other missions by level are listed on the mission guide.
