And All the Stars Alight is an endgame story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you follow VESTA deeper into Borg space. You shadow VESTA to the Vacuum Epicenter, move closer to the vacuum, track down a parts dealer in Imada and find Scotty before returning to VESTA. The game lists a recommended level of 50, and while it can be accepted at warp 1, it needs warp 205 to complete. There is no combat objective. The reward is 147,334,000 Parsteel, ten 1M Dilithium Tokens and 2,500 Ship XP, and finishing it unlocks Distrustful Nature.
And All the Stars Alight objectives
The story line asks you to follow VESTA deeper into Borg space. There are five objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:
- Follow VESTA. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.
- Get closer to the vacuum. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.
- Find a parts dealer. Location: Imada.
- Find Scotty. Location: ST-9417.
- Return to VESTA. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.
All five steps are travel and investigation. The route starts and ends at the Vacuum Epicenter, with a trip out to Imada and ST-9417 in between.
Where and what warp
The mission can be accepted at warp 1, but the Vacuum Epicenter, Imada and ST-9417 need warp 205 to complete it. The recommended level is 50, and a warp 205 ship is the real requirement.
And All the Stars Alight rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Parsteel | 147,334,000 |
| 1M Dilithium Token | 10 |
| Ship XP | 2,500 |
Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission, Distrustful Nature.
The mission before it
Patterns of Behavior leads into this one. It is also a recommended level 50 mission, but it is a combat mission at warp 185: you investigate Borg space, clear eight level 50 hostiles and defeat a Borg Scout of about 15,761,293 strength, for 5,000 Latinum and 530,400,000 Parsteel. After that fight, And All the Stars Alight is a travel-only step, although it needs 20 more warp.
Other late VESTA missions at warp 205
| Mission | Recommended level | Story | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| And All the Stars Alight | 50 | Follow VESTA deeper into Borg space | 147,334,000 Parsteel, 10 × 1M Dilithium Token, 2,500 Ship XP |
| Interlude | 52 | Regroup with VESTA | 68,850,000 Tritanium, 10 × 1M Dilithium Token |
| Our Time Is Running Out | 53 | Regroup with VESTA | 190,350,000 Tritanium, 10 × 1M Dilithium Token |
| The End of Everything | 58 | Collapse the vacuum and save the galaxy | 4,000,000,000 Parsteel, 1,500 Latinum, 3 Jean-Luc Picard shards |
The first three each pay ten 1M Dilithium Tokens alongside a large resource payout, and the rewards grow sharply as the recommended level rises.
Hostiles at the Vacuum Epicenter
Nothing needs to be fought, but current hostile data lists Assimilated Craft and related assimilated hostiles at the Vacuum Epicenter from level 50 to 56. A combat ship is worth bringing if you plan to farm while you are there.
Tips
Any ship with warp 205 can finish this mission. A fast one cuts the round trip from the Vacuum Epicenter to Imada and ST-9417 and back.
Put the Parsteel toward late station upgrades, where costs run into the billions.
Montgomery Scott is also an officer in the game. Other missions are listed on the mission guide.
