Intellectual Property Theft is a level 53 KSG mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you track down the captain of the Terros gang. It starts at warp 1 after Brain and Brawn and needs only warp 185, lower than the missions around it. After finding the pirate captain in Rek’Sgar, you choose where to search for X’Zar. Both paths pay 93,150,000 Tritanium; one adds 240 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups, the other a 1 Day Peace Shield. It unlocks Black Market Blues.

On the debris field path your crew struggles to scan the inner field through debris and radiation before tracking the fleet down. On the civilian fleet path you hail a flagship that ignores you, patch into its communications, and go straight to disabling X’Zar’s vessel.

No pickup system is listed. The mission appears at warp 1 once Brain and Brawn is done, and warp 185 is enough to complete either path. Every other level 53 KSG mission needs warp 255.
The recommended level is 53. No enemy strength is listed for X’Zar’s vessel.

Which path to pick
The civilian fleet path is one step shorter and pays a Peace Shield. The debris field path adds a travel step and pays repair speed ups instead. The Tritanium is the same either way, and both end in Weima.
If you already have Peace Shields stocked, the 240 repair speed ups are the more practical pick. If you want protection for a day, take the civilian fleet.
Tips
This is the easiest level 53 mission to reach, at warp 185, so it is a good one to finish even if your ship is still working toward warp 255.
