Unravel is a level 76 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which the Order has to make a difficult choice. It is picked up in Xinduq and needs warp 4,000 to start and to complete, with stops in Kilmihil, Kúshlah and Eotaq in Maphomia. There are 10 hostiles of level 75 or higher and one fight of about 56 trillion strength, but no donation. The reward is 2,567,000 7★ Raw Crystal, 224,000 7★ Broken Battleship Parts and 1,400 Σ-Romulan Credits. It is a mid-paying Romulan mission with a fair bit of travel.
Unravel objectives
There are six objectives and no choice split:
- Follow the distress signal. Location: Kilmihil.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of level 75 or higher.
- Check in with the Order. Location: Kúshlah.
- Proceed to Eotaq. Location: Maphomia.
- Defend yourself. Location: Maphomia (enemy strength about 56.2 trillion).
- Return to the base. Location: Kúshlah.
A distress signal pulls you to Kilmihil, and after the hostiles you report to the Order in Kúshlah. The Order sends you to Eotaq in Maphomia, where you come under attack, and the mission ends back at the base.
Where and what warp
The pickup system is Xinduq. Warp to start and warp to complete are both 4,000, and the recommended level is 76.
The hostile target is level 75 or higher, one level under the mission’s recommended level, so the pool of valid targets is wider than usual. Kúshlah comes up twice, once midway and once at the end.

The faction point changes are identical across all four. Unravel and Propaganda are the free ones; Back to the Beginning pays the most if you are willing to fight or pay.
Tips
The fight in Maphomia is typical for level 76 at about 56 trillion. Any ship that clears the hostiles will manage it.
Strange Encounters also visits Xinduq and Kilmihil at this level, and it pays no faction points, so it fits into the same trip without affecting your standing further.
