Unwanted Gift is a level 12 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where the Orion Syndicate asks you to deliver an armed explosive device to Grav’Tak, a Nausicaan pirate. You collect the gift from Vixis in Orion, deliver it in Nausicaa, then return to Orion Prime. It is picked up in Orion and needs warp 8 both to start and to finish. There are no fights, and the reward is 4,000 Parsteel and one Orion Manifest.
Unwanted Gift objectives
There are three objectives and no choice split:
- Collect the gift from Vixis. Location: Orion.
- Deliver Grav’Tak’s gift. Location: Nausicaa.
- Return to Orion Prime. Location: Orion.
The mission is a round trip. You pick up the package from Vixis in Orion, carry it to Nausicaa for Grav’Tak, and fly back to Orion Prime to finish. No hostile is listed at any step.
There is no choice split. The data gives no option to warn Grav’Tak or turn the job down once it is underway; delivering the gift is the only path.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in Orion. The game lists warp 8 to start and warp 8 to complete. Orion and Nausicaa are the only two systems in the mission.
The recommended level is 12. The level and the warp do not always move together in this part of the game: Unwanted Gift asks for warp 8 at level 12, while Buyer’s Remorse, which also runs to Nausicaa, lists level 1 but needs warp 12.

Relocation and Unwanted Gift pay the same 4,000 Parsteel, each with one special item on top. Buyer’s Remorse also passes through Nausicaa, tracking a scrap dealer to Nausicaa Prime.
Tips
Send any ship with warp 8. With no combat, even a survey hull can make the delivery.
The Orion Manifest is the one reward here that is not a plain resource, so keep it rather than overlooking it in your inventory.
