Weather Report is a level 68 Romulan mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. A Tal Shiar agent sends you to scan Federation systems under the cover story of a weather survey. You pick it up in Vulin, and warp 1,500 covers the start and the finish. When a Federation officer questions you, you either confess and pay 45M Dilithium or keep up the story and fight a Federation battleship. Both paths pay 477,000 6★ Raw Gas and 3,800 Romulan Credits, plus one extra item that depends on your choice.
Weather Report objectives
The Tal Shiar have limited access to the new Federation territories, so the agent wants an outsider to scan every planet and object along a set route. Every player starts with these steps:
- Get to the Federation territory at Solas Astra.
- Investigate the first group of systems at New Bombay.
- Investigate the second group of systems at Eranias.
- Decide how to answer the Federation agent.
Maia logs colonies, bases and ship counts at each stop. Partway through the second sweep, a Federation officer accuses you of espionage and asks for the truth.
Tell the Federation agent the truth
- Donate 45M Dilithium to alter the received data.
- Deliver the collected data in Vulin.
The officer spares you on condition that you falsify everything you collected and pay a 45M Dilithium fee. You hand the doctored data to the Tal Shiar agent, who accepts it.
Stick to the weather report story
- Investigate the third group of the systems at Persephone.
- Defend against the Federation battleship at Persephone (enemy strength ~13,338,340,215).
- Deliver the collected data in Vulin.
Maia claims to work for a meteorological company called Project Genetrix, and the officer lets you go. At the last stop he works out the company does not exist and attacks. You fight your way out and deliver the real data.
Where and what warp
The mission is picked up in Vulin and returns there at the end. Warp 1,500 is enough for the start and completion. The shared route runs through Solas Astra, New Bombay and Eranias, and the second path adds Persephone. The recommended level is 68.

Other level 68 Romulan missions from Vulin
Vulin is also the pickup for two more Romulan missions at level 68. All three use warp 1,500 and give the same reputation:
| Mission | Warp | Main rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Weather Report | 1,500 | 477,000 6★ Raw Gas, 4 Hr Peace Shield or 600 6★ Common Refined Crystal, 3,800 Romulan Credits |
| Tainted Logic | 1,500 | 216,000 6★ Raw Gas, 250 6★ Common Refined Ore, 3,800 Romulan Credits |
| Tattletales | 1,500 | 144,000 6★ Raw Ore, 2 1 Day Assignment Speed Up, 3,800 Romulan Credits |
Tips
Pick your path by what you would rather spend. Telling the truth costs 45M Dilithium and skips every fight. Sticking to the story costs nothing up front but adds a trip to Persephone and a battleship listed at about 13.3 billion strength. See Federation hostiles for the kind of ships you will face.
The extra reward is the only other difference. The fight path adds 600 6★ Common Refined Crystal, and the honest path adds a 4 Hr Peace Shield, so players short on refined Crystal have a reason to fight.
The Gas reward is the same either way. So is the reputation: 202 million Romulan Points against losses of about 220 million Klingon and 330 million Federation Points. That trade leans Romulan, so check faction reputation before stacking several of these. Other missions by level are in the mission guide.
