Hail the Glow Cloud I is a KSG mission in Star Trek Fleet Command about a strange particle cloud behind a string of disappearances. It is picked up in Kur’than, needs warp 400 to start and complete, and has a choice split: destroy the Klingon ships caught in the cloud, or try to free them with 40M Dilithium. Both paths pay a KSG Datapad and Klingon standing, with either 2,500 3 Hour Speed Ups or 1,700 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups on top. Finishing it unlocks Hail the Glow Cloud II.

The game lists a recommended level of 1. The fights, at around 32 to 33 million strength, and the warp 400 range are the real requirements.

Tips
The choice comes down to Dilithium against a second fight. Destroying the ships means two battles and no cost; trying to free them costs 40M Dilithium but leaves only one battle.
The speed up path pays far more time: 2,500 3 Hour Speed Ups is 7,500 hours, against 425 hours of repair time on the other path.
Hail the Glow Cloud II opens at warp 1 afterwards and sends you back to tugh’lI wov, so keep the same ship ready. Other missions by level are on the mission guide.
