Deeper is a short faction mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you meet Toryn on Deneva and pick a major faction to back. It can be picked up at warp 1 and needs warp 11 to finish. Whichever faction you choose, you deliver 25 of its credits and receive 2,500,000 Parsteel plus 5,000 reputation with that faction. The small extra reward and the reputation you lose differ by path, and it leads into Bound Together.
Deeper objectives
The mission opens with two shared steps:
- Meet Toryn on Deneva. Location: Deneva.
- Choose which Faction you want to aid in your research.
The second step is a three-way choice split. Each path has a single objective: deliver 25 credits of the faction you picked.
Federation path
- Deliver 25 Federation Credits.
Rewards: 2,500,000 Parsteel, 5,000 Federation Points, 5 4★ Raw Crystal. You lose 5,000 Klingon Points and 5,000 Romulan Points.
Romulan path
- Deliver 25 Romulan Credits.
Rewards: 2,500,000 Parsteel, 5,000 Romulan Points, 5 2★ Uncommon Refined Crystal. You lose 5,000 Klingon Points and 5,000 Federation Points.
Klingon path
- Deliver 25 Klingon Credits.
Rewards: 2,500,000 Parsteel, 5,000 Klingon Points, 5 2★ Common Refined Crystal. You lose 5,000 Federation Points and 5,000 Romulan Points.
Where and what warp
Deeper has no named pickup system and can be picked up at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 11, which is what you need to reach Deneva. The game lists a recommended level of 1, and there is no fight, so the warp to Deneva and the 25 faction credits are the only requirements.

Every path also pays 2,500,000 Parsteel. Completing Deeper, on any path, unlocks Bound Together.
Which faction to pick
Pick the faction you already plan to work with. The Parsteel is the same on every path, and each one costs you 5,000 reputation with both of the other two major factions. The mission rewards committing to one side.
The deciding factor for most players is which faction’s credits they already hold, since you need 25 of them to finish. If you have credits for more than one faction, go with the one whose reputation you want to raise.
The extra item is a minor tie-breaker. The Federation path pays 4★ Raw Crystal, which is a higher tier than the 2★ refined crystal on the other two paths.
What comes next
Bound Together asks you to earn a Rank IV Commendation with any faction. It needs only warp 1 and pays 5,000,000 Parsteel and 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens. Because any faction counts, the side you pick in Deeper does not lock you out of it.
Tips
Check your faction credits before you travel. The delivery is the only real step, and arriving at Deneva without 25 credits for your chosen faction leaves the mission stuck at the choice.
Do not pick a faction you plan to abandon. Every path takes 5,000 reputation from the other two major factions, so the choice only pays off if you keep working with the side you backed.
