Hoodwinked is a five-part Star Trek Fleet Command mission chain in which you answer a distress call, rescue a stranded crew and help them chase down the thief who stripped their shuttle. Every part is recommended for level 10, the chain opens with a signal that leads to Elva, and no part needs more than warp 7. The headline reward is six Miles O’Brien shards, split between the first and last parts, with Parsteel, Officer XP, 2★ ship parts and Tritanium in between depending on your choices. It is a short, friendly chain for new commanders.

Tips for completing Hoodwinked

The fights are light for level 10: the named enemies in Weh, Grenfil or Whinnul, and Quvolis all sit around 2,900 to 3,000 strength. The heavier work is the hostile grinding, with 10 kills in Elva for Part 1, 5 in Quvolis if you storm the lair in Part 4, and 5 more in Elva for Part 5. Any hostile of level 10 or higher counts.

Plan for the resource costs. The bribe route in Part 3 costs 7,000 Parsteel, the diversion in Part 4 costs 100 Dilithium, and the shuttle repair in Part 5 costs 500 Tritanium. If Parsteel is tight at this level, the intimidation route swaps that cost for one fight at about 2,935 strength.

The choices change what you earn more than what you do. Pick the Officer XP routes (the colony in Part 2 and the bribe in Part 3) if you are levelling crew, and the Ship XP and parts routes if you are upgrading ships. In Part 4 version B, the head-on route pays 100 Latinum and 20 Premium Recruit Token, while the diversion pays back more Dilithium than it costs.

Hoodwinked shares several systems with Mirror, Mirror, another low-level chain that fits in the same play window. The mission guide lists more chains for this stage.

Are the Hoodwinked rewards worth it?

Yes, if you want Miles O’Brien. Six shards across Parts 1 and 5 are guaranteed whatever you choose, and the middle parts add useful early Parsteel, XP and 2★ ship parts. The whole chain stays inside warp 7 and asks for only modest resource payments, so a level 10 commander can clear it in one sitting.
