To Seek Out New Life Forms is a Star Trek Fleet Command faction mission that opens with the story line “Work with the Federation” and ends by making you pick a side. It lists a recommended level of 1, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 12 to finish, with the action split between Deneva and Midnight. It is combat-heavy, with four named fights and a 10-hostile grind on any path, and the three-way choice at the end decides whether you earn Federation, Klingon or Romulan rewards.
To Seek Out New Life Forms objectives
The first six objectives are the same for everyone:
- Find the primary object in Deneva. Location: Deneva.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of Level 17 or higher.
- Defeat the D3. Location: Deneva. Enemy strength is roughly 18,405.
- Find the source of the new signal in Midnight. Location: Midnight.
- Defeat the Legionary. Location: Midnight. Enemy strength is roughly 16,207.
- Pick a side. This is the choice split.
Each of the three paths ends with two more fights in Midnight and a return home.

Where and what warp
Warp is 1 to start and 12 to complete. Deneva hosts the first half of the mission and Midnight the second, and every path finishes with a return to your station. Warp 12 covers both systems.
The listed recommended level is 1, but the objectives tell a different story. The 10 hostiles must be level 17 or higher, and the named enemies sit between roughly 16,207 and 18,405 strength.

Tips
Pick the side you are already building reputation with. The three paths pay the same 250 points and 25 credits, just to different factions, and each one costs a little standing with a rival.
Bring a combat ship and plan for a long session. Counting the 10 hostiles, you fight 14 times before you can head home, and every named enemy sits around 16,000 to 18,500 strength.
If you want another three-way standoff in Deneva, The Sign of the Three sends you there to investigate a Klingon, Romulan and Federation ship facing off. Every other mission, sorted by level, is on the mission guide.
