Transposition is a Borg storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you defend Dalen and help him move his operation somewhere safer. It has a recommended level of 25 and needs warp 22 to finish. You rush to Qualor IX, clear 10 hostiles of level 26 or higher, beat a Corvallen Raider at roughly 55,452 strength, then escort Dalen’s operation to Willenia. The reward is two 1M Parsteel Tokens.
Transposition objectives
There are five objectives and no choice split:
- Rush to Dalen’s defense on Qualor IX. Location: Qualor.
- Defeat 10 hostiles of Level 26 or higher.
- Defeat the Corvallen Raider. Location: Qualor. Enemy strength is roughly 55,452.
- Safely relocate Dalen’s operation to Sunodun in Willenia. Location: Willenia.
- Return to your Station.
The first stop is Qualor IX, a planet in the Qualor system. The kill count comes next and has no system attached, so any hostile of level 26 or higher counts toward it. After that you face the Corvallen Raider back in Qualor, then escort Dalen’s operation to Sunodun in Willenia. The last step sends you home.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system, and the mission becomes available at warp 1. Completing it needs warp 22, the range for Willenia. Qualor is where the fighting happens, and Willenia is the last system before home.
The recommended level is 25, but the kill count asks for level 26 or higher hostiles. Plan on a ship that can handle targets one level above the recommendation.
Transposition rewards
- 2 1M Parsteel Token
That is 2,000,000 Parsteel once both tokens are used. Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission in the chain.

Wiretap and Transposition share a recommended level of 25, but the warp jumps from 18 to 22 between them. If Wiretap was the furthest you had flown, Willenia may need a warp upgrade first. Finishing Transposition opens And You Will Know Us… Part 1, the next step in the story.
Tips
Clear the 10 kills before you take on the Raider. They come first in the objective list, and farming them near Qualor keeps your ship close to the Raider for the next step.
The Corvallen Raider at about 55,452 is modest for level 25. A ship that has just cleared ten level 26 or higher hostiles should have no trouble, as long as it has been repaired in between.
The relocation leg to Willenia has no fight attached, so you can make that trip on a damaged hull and repair when you get home.
Save the Parsteel Tokens for a big upgrade. Two million Parsteel is a useful chunk around level 25, where many building upgrades already cost more than a million Parsteel. More story content is on the Borg page, and every mission by level is on the mission guide.
